This was one of the best "Intertwining storylines" episodes they have ever done. Everyone thinking the fighting parents were losers, but his "Rocky-like" determination was the one thing that finally allowed the kids to be done with baseball. BRILLIANT lol

It doesn't matter if his hallucinations of everyone cheering for him to get up weren't real. His own mind was cheering for him, he was telling himself to get back up. The way his stance suddenly changes to a professional's stance, the way he regains his balance. That is his sheer willpower at that moment, as he is literally hyping himself up by singing. He started this fight, and he is damn well going to be the one to finish it.
Who played into whose trap? There's a fan theory that Bat Dad got Denver all the way to the state championship game by goading fathers into fights and getting their teams disqualified. It would explain why the Denver kids, the so called expert losers, got that far. Bat Dad was better at pissing people off, than the kids were at losing, lol.
The funny thing is that "You're The Best Around" was played at a Boston Red Sox Baseball Game in 2008 to welcome the Celtics as they Celebrated their 2007-2008 NBA Championship at Fenway Park.
