    Not only does it look cool but I think it also makes you safer since it's catching people driving cars attention more than if it wasn't there.

      No worries my friend. If adding a cool way to increase visibility is something you prioritize. I'd recommend doing it. Just take your time when deciding where to place them. Some people think the lighting looks good when youncan see them directly and it has a "glow" effect.

    Hello !
    First of all, thank you for your video. I have two questions:
    Can you give us the link to the led you bought?
    On the video, we can see that you turn the leds on and off manually with the remote control. Is it possible to make the leds turn on when you turn the bike's ignition on and off when you turn the bike's ignition off?
    Thank you for your answers and sorry for my English, I am French 🙂

    Thanks for the video, I just installed mine while following the video to see where you put yours. I am now trying to put the fairings back on, but the clips on the side fairings under the headlights are not clicking in place after I screw the sides in, did you have any issues like this when you were reassembling the bike?

    The white wire is to connect to your brake lights. When you hit the brake, the lights will turn red. I just bought the same kit.

    • @TopTeemShay
      @TopTeemShay  Рік тому

      What was your experience like, did you set it up pretty easily?
      I avoided splicing the white line for now due to law enforcement in my area really not liking "red" lighting on bikes or lights that changed color while the vehicle is being operated.

    • @MichaelWilder-y1v

      @@TopTeemShay I spliced I to the brake line and it works great. As long as no lights are facing forward of blue or red your good in most cases. The bad is when they flash or are visible to the front. The process did take time for me. I did all the wires and tucked them. I will post a video later or attach a picture for you guys. One of the best light products I’ve bought in a long time.

    • @TopTeemShay
      @TopTeemShay  4 місяці тому

      That's awesome man, im gonna stay away from those colors though. After speaking with the cops, they really seem to just play it loose and depending on who you get. They'll make a fuss over it. I've even seen them give out tickets over tread depth. It's so random bro.
      And yeah that's the same pier

    Did you have any issues with the lights draining the battery?

    • @TopTeemShay
      @TopTeemShay  4 місяці тому

      Only when I left them on for more than a day or two. I've had that happen because I forgot to turn off the lights and left on a trip and the battery was dead afterwards. But NO they have not drained my battery or caused me problems. I also have a batter tender installed so it's very easy for me to recharge.

      Man, I understand the pain brotha! every time I start wrenching on my bike I feel that I'm about to destroy my motor mounts or jack up my wiring I do things VERY slowly for that reason man.
      I also feel you about wishing you had someone to help because I'm searching on youtube, google, and instruction manuals for all my information and it just feels so damn risky learning it for the first time.

    How are the lights holding up? It's been 8 months since the install.

    • @TopTeemShay

      They work just fine! still bright, the adhesive is holding just fine. Not one light has even started to peel off, I've ridden in the rain often. Absolutely no issues with these lights from my experience, they are cheap in price as well. They don't drain my battery too much either. I've left them on for a day and a half by accident and my battery didn't die.

      Sorry for the late reply my friend. This is doable on the 2018 also. For the most part, the Ninja 400 is a "2018+" model. Meaning that since 2018 to present. It hasn't changed much outside of fairings.
