A great night at the City Varieties on Tuesday. Almost 52 years to the week since I first saw BJH.Was worried at how muddied the sound was during the opening number but thankfully things improved. Sad that this will probably be the last time but John is 76 now. Like I said, great night.
Craig is a great foil to John and helps out not just with the songs but with the witty banter. I get the impression that banter is not really one of John's strong points ( me neither ) I'm off to see them at Huddersfield and bid them farewell. I felt that John was struggling vocally which is understandable at 76.
