Partilho das vossas opiniões - estes tipos são enormes, nunca acabam. As suas melodias têm sonoridades com uma beleza indescritivel (Também estive no dramático de Cascais em 1980 e agora na Aula Magna). Bem hajam!

As pessoas esquecem-se que estes senhores andam a dar-nos da melhor música que se pode ouvir desde os anos 60 e que o tempo passa para todos, não sendo possível ter a mesma voz e agilidade de dedos aos 70 anos que se tinha aos 20. Ainda bem que têm paciência para continuar a tocar músicas com mais de 30 e 40 anos para gáudio dos que os ouvirão até não terem voz para dizer os poemas que escreveram.
Amigo Nuno,estamos em sintonia,além de que a maioria dos seus temas, são intemporais, pois focam as realidades sócio - políticas globais do mundo em que vivemos, como eu costumo enfatizar nas tertúlias do meu ciclo de amigos, as melodias de BJH, são MENSAGENS, para ouvir, sentir, meditar, partilhar e agir, em prol de um mundo mais SOLIDÁRIO e HUMANO, bem haja amigo NUNO.
Saw the original band twice in their early days - May 15th, 1973 and Feb 16, 1974. Both times at Malvern Winter Gardens. No my memory isn't that great, I still have the ticket stubs! Great music then and they seem to still have it here in 2010. Great stuff!! I have their autographs somewhere too.

Un peu triste que la voix de Les Holroyd déraille, particulièrement sur Play to the world, mais quel grand Groupe quand même, compagnon de ma vie depuis mon adolescence au début des années 80. Ce constat me peine et me fait prendre conscience de l'inexorable atteinte du temps....

Am besten waren sie in der Urbesetzung........John, Les, Wooly und Mel.......aber die Erinnerung daran kann mir keiner nehmen.......Fly away mit der Urbesetzung........das Spiel von Wooly's Melotron......wäre episch.......

do I see this wrong or is John Lees not there? Holroyd and Lees belong together , the ARE BJH. Nevertheless both of them can deliver fantastic music on and on....
Adoro esta banda mas este foi, talvez, um dos piores concertos que eu vi. E o pior é que paguei para assistir a este concerto. Penso que a última música foi quem salvou o concerto. O resto, o video fala por si, para quem não assistiu.

I really like Les Holroyd's "Barclay James Harvest". They are a really great group, and their albums are wonderful.
It would be better is Les and John could put away their differences and do a few shows together. But, we take what we can get.

God, you people are totally ignorant. Les Holroyd and John Lees stopped working together over two decades ago. And Mel and Wolly are both dead!!!!
Mel and Stuart "Wooly" are dead, and John and Les are not speaking. So we have two "homeopathic" bands. But better that than not having the music.
