@@gabriellaquerales3997 Thank you Gabriella! I’m glad you think it’s high quality. 🙏
I love sculptra haven’t had any filler in 5 years. I got 3 vials of sculptra 3 years ago now do one a year to maintain. Will be 60 next month very happy with my results ❤❤
@@mariacardaropoli90 Thank you so much for sharing your story. Very helpful to know.
I like sculpture too. I had three vials, and was very happy and will be going back for a top up yearly hopefully
@@mcanultymichelle thanks for sharing your story! Good to hear you were happy with it.
The combination of both is just outstanding!! I did them both and I absolutely love the results 🙌🏼
@@puremoonlight9690 I agree. Both are awesome as long as it’s used as properly indicated.
I gave you a LIKE when I saw that cat on the couch. :)
@@heyboo9728 😻 thank you. I love cats and anilmals
I’m a sculptra girl! Love it. Also did bellafill once. Very expensive and didn’t see much difference.
@@rocb5473 Thank you for sharing! I just don’t love what Bellafill is made of.
So good. I work in plastics/cosmetic surgery and more and more I’m against using filler(not all together but not how it’s been used for many years now.) bio stimulation all the way
@@haleymoon657 Thank you for sharing! Would be interesting to know why you feel more against using filler.
Excellent video, as always!
@@carolinabrown8336 Thank you Carolina! Have you heard about the new changes from Alle? If so, what are your thoughts?
@@NaturalInjector I haven't heard much because we don't carry Alle products at our spa. Is it causing a big stir amongst Alle providers or patrons?
@@carolinabrown8336 oh yes. It is. I’ll be talking about it in my next video. Would love to know what you think
My injector, one a nurse, the other a doctor, all tell me Sculptra is unpredictable. If there is Laluma I would go for that. Unfortunately not found in my country. It's cheaper and more effective. I am going for Ellanse instead for my forehead in a few weeks time.
@@Dandelion_flight Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately Lanluma is not approved in the US (not sure where you reside). I think the ppl who say it’s unpredictable are unfamiliar with it.
Hi Emily!! Thanks so much for your great video's! Would you be able to recommend an injector in the Sarasota, FL area? Now that you have got me interested in Sculptra, I need to find someone to do it!! You are Awesome!!! :)
@@staceybuoy599 Hi Stacey! I don’t have any recommendations in the Sarasota area but I can recommend Shino Bay out of Ft. Lauderdale. I know that’s a bit of a drive from Sarasota (I actually used to live in Sarasota).
@@NaturalInjector Thanks for your prompt reply! Yeah, that is a bit of a drive. Too bad you don't still live here! ha! Thanks Emily and many Blessings to you!
Love your videos, Emily! Do you know what someone could inject in their lips to stimulate collagen? And I can't wait for your video on biostimulators for the eye area. I am consulting with a doctor in the UK to have Gouri under my eye.
@@kikilala1087 Thank you! I am not sure. I think some injectors can inject PRP to the lips. I have never heard of Gouri. Is it a biostimulator?
@@NaturalInjector yes it is! Gouri has 21% Polycaprolactone which helps with volume. It's new though so how volume it can give remains to be seen.
Great video Em!
@@mindy561 Thanks so much! Please feel free to share with others.
Why don't you prefer Radiesse when it does the same thing as Sculptra? I always watch your channel and follow you.
@@alanbritofinito2940 I think Sculptra is a better biostimulator. It’s only recently that Radiesse has been marketed as a biostimulator.
Sometimes i think if ppl find the balance between staying skinny in the body and having facial volume, the fillers will be less needed... esp in 30s-40s...
@@TheMeowizer You bring up a really interesting theory. . The thing is that as you get older, especially if you are lower body fat, being “skinny” and having adequate facial volume is difficult. Especially if you’re a sinker and very lean. You tend to lose more collagen and elastin in the skin, and more facial fat. Both of these help to plump the face.. So it becomes challenging to maintain a lean, fit body, and having adequate enough facial volume. .Thank you for your comment 👍
Great video! As I approach mid 40, I start to consider more and more a face lift. No wrinkles, just the structures seems to “fall” a little bit. Would you please, consider to make a video about Sculptra making the lifting process harder?
@@cristianateodoru5808 I’m not sure what you mean about Sculptra making the lifting process harder? You mean can you still have a facelift?
I mean a face, after a treatment with Sculptra, is harder “to lift”. Is harder for the surgeon because the new built colagen “sticks” the tissues, wich makes harder to lift them.
@@cristianateodoru5808 Yes it is going to be more difficult for some surgeons than if you had a “virgin free” face but it is still possible. There are other biostimulators though that do not cause fibrosis. Renuva does not. The thing is, most ppl are not going to want to do nothing and let their faces go south until they are ready for a facelift. Also, a facelift does not address loss of volume.
Your sculptra videos are always so informative! I was wondering, if I'm in my late 20's, would 1 vial be enough? How long should the wait be before I see if I need the remaining 2 vials as advised by the doctor for best results? I am almost 8 weeks post.
One thing I've noticed with sculptra and ultherapy (at the same time), my 5 year old undereye filler became more bumpy and obvious. Perhaps the sculptra collagen formation has pushed the filler to the surface? I have since got them dissolved.
@@rpohpiah I’m so glad you find the videos informative! 1 vial may be enough. I usually wait 3 full months to see results on patients (and myself). That’s so interesting about your under eye filler! I have a question about that. Did they treat your temples with Sculptra? This video will likely be helpful 👉 ua-cam.com/video/fcbybJ4ymQM/v-deo.htmlsi=fZpKMXB148ewTQQZ
@@NaturalInjector yes they did my temples! Those areas were sore for weeks. I also had a freak out reading reddit horror stories on sculptra so I was VERY diligent with the 555 massage although my practitioner said that it wasn't that vital (8mL saline dilution). I'm not sure if I may have spread the sculptra medially towards my undereyes in doing so. My dark undereye is back on one eye but I was advised against re-filling it with HA filler because my cheek is pretty voluminous apparently according to her and perhaps would cause puffiness? She would just leave it as is.
@@rpohpiah This is very interesting to know.! think that the temples and the under eyes are connected in that, I have had Renuva injected two times and the second time I had Renuva injected into my temples, they used more volume than they had the first time. A few days later, I had bruising to my under eyes and on one side of my upper eyelid I also had bruising. The bruising actually turned into black and blue. I think there’s some sort of connection between treating the temples and the under eyes. The bruising completely went away to my under eyes as I expected it to. I am wondering if some possibly spread to the under eye area as well to rejuvenate that area. Interestingly, I never developed bruising to my temples, only my under eyes, even though my under eyes were not injected. I also got swelling to one of my under eyes that actually comes and goes. I had this happen to another patient as well. She developed a little swelling to the under eyes after I injected her temples. I am wondering if it causes my under eye filler to get more swollen. 🤔
@@NaturalInjector that's so interesting. We need studies on how injectables travel in the face 🤭. I'm left wondering when the effects of both sculptra and ultherapy wear off, what my undereyes will look like.
@@rpohpiah With Sculptra you want the product to spread, so that’s not necessarily a bad thing but I think the temples are unique area and hopefully I will discover more.
Would you do Sculptra aling the jaw line also?
@@nessa0808 It depends, what is the goal of doing the jawline? Would it be for more definition and structure for those that have a smaller less defined jawline?
I started Sculptra a year ina half ago .. i absolutely Love it .. i also got midface filler before i had the Sculptra done- i like Both cuz they serve different purposes .. for reference- last time i had midface filler was august 2023, my doctor said it’s still good & i agreed .. i recently had another vial of sculptra .. the last time i had got sculptra before This last recent time was June 2023 - not bad at all
@@Regina88-84 Thank you for sharing your story. I agree, filler and Sculptra serve different purposes 👍
My concern is that I eventually want a face lift. Is it ok to get sculptra if I want a life in the next few years? I’m wondering how long I should wait.
@@ldelre7439 You can get a facelift but your surgeon would likely want you to stop using injectables before a facelift. I think it depends on when you plan to get a facelift. I usually tell a patient if they want to get a facelift within the next few years, perhaps they should consider stopping
To be honest I will NEVER put filler in my face. I work in a med spa and we have been seeing so many issues over the past year. Migration that’s not dissolving or very difficult to, nodules, etc. And if I’m being completely honest we can’t even sell it right now. Even with flash sales we have so much product just sitting on the shelf and expiring.
Wow really?! Thanks for sharing. Are the issues mainly in the lips? What area of the face are you finding that people have had issues with? Also wondering if you can’t sell it because filler has gotten a bad wrap?
I have some filler in my temples, under eye and lip for a few years now and I am loving the result. Skillfully done at right places right amounts, it can be very good. I had a gaunt and asymmetrical face and depleted tear troughs, I looked horrible on photos and that really affected my confidence. But the shape and contour are so much better now. Having said that I would go for bio-stimulators if I have a choice. And the latter cannot resolve every problem, some areas filler is more suitable. And I agree with you that filler is not as popular now due to all the problems and that is because of over-filling and all the hype. Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate your honesty.
@@Dandelion_flight I have a gaunt face and will get Sculptra for the first time.
Perhaps the injectors at your medspa are not good injectors?
@@NaturalInjector i definitely think that’s part of it. It’s mostly the lips that are migrating.
What do you think of ez gel
Any recommendations for injectors in the DC/DMV area?
@@AngelaY-g5e No sorry. 😞
I go to Dr. Somenek for my sculptra. He’s great. Located in DC
Did you ever find out about the Renunva?
I’ve been injected with it 3 times now. I want to do one more treatment in a few months. So far I like it! I have not waited the full 3 months from my 1st session though, so my full effects are not present yet. I think I will be offering this to patients soon. I wanted to test it out on myself first. I can actually offer neck and hands for now if someone wanted to get those areas done, that’s where I feel Renuva is better than other bio stimulators in these areas. Not so much risk of nodules in these areas as opposed to Sculptra which cannot be used in the hands and the risk of nodules in the neck is high because in these areas the skin is thin.
Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve a lumpy result from hyaluronic fillers?
@@DB6904. Hyaluronidase can be used
@@NaturalInjectorthank you.
What do you think about ellanse ?
@@lenakim9067 I couldn’t tell you anything about it because we don’t have it approved here in the US. Not even sure if it’s a filler or biostimulator
What are your thoughts on 1 syringe of JUVEDERM Ultra Plus XC completely metabolizing by the body without needing to dissolve? Also does this type of filler help produce collagen as well? Thank you!
@@DB6904. hyaluronic acid fillers would produce very minimal amounts of collagen, if any. With regards to Juvederm ultra plus dissolving on its own I think it depends on how much volume was injected and where the injection took place
@@NaturalInjectorThe areas that I'm concerned about regarding the filler. Is the 11s and the root of the nasal bridge sum in the forehead.
1/2 syringe and then another 1/2 syringe again within 6 months from the first.
Thank you!
@@DB6904. wow. Those are high risk areas for filler. It will probably last awhile there
@@DB6904. went to respond to your last comment but don’t see it
Is there a biostimulator available for people sensitive to PEG?
@@GreenTea3699 I am not sure about that. I don’t know if Sculptra contains Polyethylene glycol, do you know that it does?
Which biostimulators are aproved under eyes in Europe?
I'm in Europe.
Thanks
@@petvuk I have heard that Sunekos and a few others can be injected under the eyes. I’m not sure if they have Rejuran in Europe as well.
@@NaturalInjector Oh, I see, I thought you meant PLLA product. I did recently Mastelli, I was not aware that should have comparable results to PLLA. My doctor suggested to do Sculptra in my sculp, I am young and have minimal collagen loss yet but I want to prevent it. She suggested not to use Lanluma saying lanluma adds too much volume and on my already quite baby face it would be too much, I doubt that but what to do than to trust her. Also I like the idea baout injecting it in scalp, I noticed httat's the area, besides temples that loses volume a lot. What do you think about it? she said lanluma cant be injected there... Rejuran is not in EU yet, but as i said i was told to expect very mild results w polynucleotides? so i am considering filler under my eye too as that's my first sign of aging , hollows under eye.. thanks! i love yourchannel!
Do you doing vobella in the lips every 2 years bad?
@@mariacardaropoli90 No, not necessarily. As long as your provider is ensuring that adding more filler to your lips will not make them look unnatural. They would have to be assessing your lips every time, and willing to say no.
I hate filler I had it twice it was a disaster. What do u think of radiesse
@@capellihairextsny Sorry the hear that. I don’t use Radiesse much as a biostimulator. I think Sculptra is a better biostimulator. What area did you get filler to?
@@NaturalInjector hi below the cheeks yrs go and I felt it migrated. It was 2 cc of restyline then another time I tried juvaderm on the left side to fill a gap between the cheek and eye and that made my eye swollen all the time I had it dissolved
I want to get Sculptra soon! I had fillers about five years ago and after one week, the filler was gone and they did not refund me. What if after 2vials, the Sculptra doesn't work? 😢😢 please respond😢 I have a gaunt face and I hate it. 😢😢
@@cheekymonkeygirl3378 If you don’t see much results after 2 vials maybe it’s because you need more or if you smoke or on semaglutides that could affect results. I’m out sure how old you are, how much volume loss etc. Please look at this playlist if you have not already👉 ua-cam.com/play/PLumz2Iw58ThRQqwHxijBrZWpPb6EzB8rT.html&si=LaLyrqtAw9GKyptz
I have a thin gaunt face as well. I did Sculptra because it is very natural and it keeps building collagen up continuously. I don’t look gaunt anymore and look younger. Filler just adds puff and unnatural weight to the face and just always looks weird. I had 3 vials. So glad I did.
What can be used for acne dents
@@capellihairextsny You can try filler if it’s a pitted scar. Peels, lasers, microneedling can also help but it cannot get rid of an actual scar it will only make it look better. There are exciting things coming that are biostimulators that can be injected into scars. They already do it in the UK and Korea
@@NaturalInjector will wait for that. Ty please lmk
U again confused illiterate me..I want to do something for my tear trough and hollow.. both, now don't know what to do bio stimulator or fillers
Prf to fill, thermage for tightening. i wouldn’t do anything else and bio stimulators aren’t approved for under eyes. It’s a tough area to treat.
@@mruna2013 If you are a good candidate you can possibly do filler for under eye hollows or PRP.
@@bnb0510 Sculptra is not approved for under eyes
@@NaturalInjector yes i know. That was auto correct. That why I said it’s a tough area. I fixed it.
We typically do prf gel for that area versus prp bc it gives a longer result.
