Abami eda! The dead, living legend, who's still here in 2020?
In my teens and twenties, I did not appreciate this track until now in my late years. How perspectives and appreciation changes of time. This is one of the most soulful and spiritual sounds. It is sad, mysterious, intriguing, hypnotic and uplifting all at the same time. Tears, smiles, nostalgia etc rolls through. I like the girls dancers. Gentle, cool, collected and groovy.

So cool to hear a music that is unique and that you don’t hear often. I like the way the horns blend with the backup vocals. Must watch more videos of Afrobeat music.
Now i know why fela is so unique n respected, he can play multiple instruments. Rest on master
Tosin Ariyo yup. He's a multi talented instrumentalist something wey modern days musician lack. How many of Dem fir play one instrument not to talk of multiple instrument
He was just fantastic!
@@bestchairman2411 to you on the phone with me as
Its amazing that his live performances are so well put together... For that time...
Fela kuti.....a musical genius.
This music is not by chance but a product of intense meditation and rehearsals.
Well done
Great respect sir. I can't hold my comment. This is a legend we killed in this country for selfish reasons and lack of insight of his grifting, ingenious characteristics and blessings to this nation. Africans, especially Nigerians don't appreciate our own thing. There can never be two Felas till eternity. REST IN PEACE BABA. WE LOVE, CELEBRATE AND MISS YOU.
Who killed him? He passed through some trials like every social critic does. But nobody killed him. He was loved, followed, admired and appreciated by most nigerians. He died like most artistic genius who lived weird and unconventional lives. So the question of anybody killing him does not arise. He died of AIDS, according to his elder brother Prof Olikoye, which was not too strange given his lifestyle.
Is it only me who is hearing burna boy's pull up beat in the background? Much respect from Uganda 🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬 I am just thinking what he would sing about African leaders in this Corona lockdown period
I'm a teenager and people find it strange that I love this man
..It's a Privilege, understanding FELA , NIGERIAN BABA ..He won't be Forgotten, Assassinated..
It’s okay. It is only a matter of perspective age and time... / teenager
Not everyone are deep thinking and Understands Fela Kuti.He was miles apart from his Generation... Understanding Fela Kuti is the beginning of awakening of social-political consciousness..
Me too
@@MichaelRoosendaal do you mean that Fela was assassinated? Please confirm.

Age has nothing to do with music especially good music . The legend lives on forever. The flesh might disappear but the music lives forever
Excellent, magnifique. Merci pour cette vidéo
He was a prophet. listen to the massage he was ahead of our time and he was brave enough to sing in Europe about imperialism. Rest in peace.
GOAT. With a Cigarette between verses lol
, his music is so unique.... different instruments..... sometimes like off tone but perfectly insane! He created his own key! And he did this in the 70s he’s just far ahead of his time
Hope you know he read music,I don't know where you get you own expertise to know he's off tone!
