I tried to give Lyga the benefit of the doubt and he does come across as likeable in the interview, but the thing that didn't make sense was, why out of all of the people probably driving on Ventura that day Gains supposedly road raged out on him?! I road rage at least once a week on the 134 going to work, but it was always for a reason! What you said makes perfect sense, Gains knew Lyga was a cop and following him, confronted him, then things went left.

I saw the Lyga interview in a couple of things he said didn’t make sense to me,first off he said he in the guys who were doing a drug sting with him including a UC,it didn’t go down so they all left to go back to their headquarters at the same time. But when that alteration with Gaines went down he said they were nowhere around so he had to radio them to let them know he had a problem,that sh!t made no sense because how tf did he get so far ahead of them if they supposedly were together. Then he said it started because he looked up in dude was ice grilling him and when he asked was their a problem dude started throwing signs up and showing his weapon the whole story stinks still to this day.

Former LAPD officer and author Brian Bentley who was one of Kevin Gaines’s partners shared an unknown fact with StreetTV, and that was that Kevin Gaines’s mother was killed by LAPD, she had a diabetic seizure. The LAPD police department responded and when they got to the scene they thought she was on drugs. The police handcuffed Gaines’s mother and didn’t give her medical attention in a timely manner and she passed away. A lawsuit was commenced against the LAPD in which Kevin Gaines’s family won. Brian Bentley asserts that Kevin Gaines’s already had money before joining the LAPD. The media, Frank Lyga and his buddies like to talk about Gaines living beyond his means when he already had money.
