David Ruffin SR. was NOT a famous songwriter but one of The greatest contemporary singers and lead of The Temptations. Smokey Robinson wrote most of the songs for The Ruffin era Temps. David Sr. didn't write anything on his solo albums.

@reggiewright I know motown like the back of my hand. David didn't write aby temp songs. They were all mostly written by Smokey robinson and later on Norman Whitfield and Barrett strong. David later worked with Van Mccoy alot. Also rick james wrote a couple of David ruffin songs during his brief (2nd) stint at motown in the early 70s. Typically 60s/early 70s motown artist didn't write their own material

Obviously, there has always been rumors about celebrities and artist regarding sexuality. The only thing I ever heard about Dre is allowing men to stay in his back house / guest house and thrse are grown men who have the capability or should go get there own. From Bruce or DOC who from interviews has done spent most of his adult life when meeting Dre was living with Dre through out his adult life. I can only assume that Dre enjoys helping his special friends as Diddy did.

I heard Dr. Dre was gay long before I heard any rumors about it. I used to work for the phone company and one of the accounts on my route was a nice apartment building in studio City. The manager of the apartment building told me that a lot of gay people live in this building and that Dr. Dre always comes here at night and leaves early in the morning. The guy had no idea who Dr. Dre was. He actually saw Dr. Dre on TV and put two and two together

Bruce's book is essentially Dre's story from the perspective of the right hand man. It's a pretty good read. He doesn't really touch on the gay rumors too much but talks about the falling out at Death Row, saying Mich'elle at one point set him up to get jumped by Death Row people after she acted cool with him, and goes in detail about the Game beef with G-Unit and other stories. Basically said he quit working for Dre because he got stuck house-sitting his wife or something.

@@DJGary0910 It's probably the closest we'll get to a Dre book since he's notoriously private and even when he does talk, it is through a filter. I remember there being some pretty good stories. Might be interesting to hear Reggie's take on it if he ever reads it.
What these kinds of stories should be showing everyone for real is that the entertainment World whether it's music and movies or art there are things that you are going to have to tolerate if you want to continue down that path yes it is sick and disgusting and a lot of people it messes them up in their head seeing it but the problem is is those people would rather get that money then have any kind of integrity
