Millennium Falcon, Iron Giant, Robbie the Robot from Lost in Space, B1 Battle droid, and this massive gauntlet blade that looks kind of like a Bat'leth. It could be from Warhammer or Gears of War
I always seemed to the the "likeable guy", could get along with almost everyone, but that always seemed to be the limit. "He's nice and all, but..." So, well known and recognizable, but never "popular".
