It's hard to believe that the entire base is handmade! The flowers in the grass and the water add so much to it! This was really fun to watch come together! Also, that thing has cheeks for WEEKS!
I’ve got your ideas for the beast, right here! 🔽 Bogglebeast (Bogglius Snarglium) A peculiar mammal that bears a gaping maw and the eyes of a hawk-along with the backside of a baboon-all the while hunching forwards like a quadruped on their hind legs. They are known for having a bear-like diet; Fish, and berries. Locals who have stumbled across these creatures have considered its anatomy “Mind-boggling,” hence the name of bogglebeast. Bogglebeasts often attack with their claws-or bite down with their oddly-shaped teeth-and can roar at such a low octave that it has nearly the same properties of a tiger’s roar.
His name is Blorg. He loves to wade because his tush gets sunburned without fur, and the water feels good. Unfortunately, this leaves him vulnerable to outside attacks. He likes the fish because they're not afraid of him. People are afeaid of him, but he's actually quite gentle.
We made little environments for pop vinyls for our wedding centrepieces and we used some of their grasses from Sik Hobbies in Perth. Great local hobby store and great products.
I love the colors that was used from the fish red to yellow tones and the monsters deep purple and light pink skin tones . And the grass colors really complements the whole piece
His name is Burk. He's a very happy-go-lucky fellow that appreciates what goes on around him and because of that he's an outcast. You see, Burk is a frenky, a race of hunters and gatherers and Burk got into trouble one too many times. He had a habbit of forgetting the errands he was sent to do (gathering water, clearing the traps they set, following tracks) and instead just staring at something beautiful, like how the light hit the trees, how the clouds moved overhead or how the fish were playing in the water. Normally, male frenkies in their late 'teens' leave the tribe in troops, but after a day of moving with his troop of brothers, cousins and peers, Burk forgot to light the fire while his peers were gathering food. He had found a plant that opened whenever the sun touched its leaves and closed when the sun left, so he was playing with it, using a giant leaf to block the sun and make the flower open and close. After that his peers kicked him out. So now he is a young man on his own. The odds are against him. He knows he needs food so he goes to a pond to try and catch fish, but then this gorgeous fish jumps and he gets so excited, he forgets his hunger and tries to make the fish jump again.
Maybe the monster and fish are best friends that haven’t seen each other in years! The fish it jumping towards the monster to give his friend a hug... Or maybe just to get eaten I don’t know 😅
This is very cool! I think a cool effect could be if you only layered grass around the pond and left the cork bare and rocky around the monster , kinda giving it contrast of a starving monster finding a heavenly oasis
I got some miniatures from my uncle for my birthday (specifically the Warhammer Sylvaneth set idk if that matters), and I built the tree lord guy, and never painted him or built any of the others! I don’t play the game, just thought the decorating would be fun. This reminded me that I have them, and I’m super excited to decorate them now
So, I noticed a lone dot for the gamers grass. Apparently, there is a hobby store on my way to work that I had no idea existed. So thanks for sponsoring Jazza, I may have no money soon.
Kzerkor, from planet Tuitro. The last of the Tuitroliem race. Known for hunting Baekilish, although Tuitroliems can't swim, they can let out a noise that will get the Baekilish to jump out of the water towards them. Plus they can open there mouths down to their feet, which makes an easy hole for the Baekilish to fall into and get eaten.
UV resin is incredible to use! i used it on the base of my Mew polymer clay figure as a water base and the clear support i added works aswelli used a ld plastic packaging and UV resin to make it stronger and now it looks like he is floating :D
His name is bob he is the son of big foot and Barney he’s escaped the imagination of kids but due to Barney and big foot’s nice nature he’s harmless and just wants a friend
I love this diorama the soya sauce fish are genius, I get a feeling the Monster is quite friendly and may have been bullied about it's butt so has a bit of a sad story. The use of that back drop is great. Would be great to see the monster appear in a one shot.
oh hell yeah, UV resin is so much fun for miniatures. I've done one or two figures that had resin bases or resin pieces and it can really add something for a piece
sadly i don't really have a local hobby store in my area anymore since it closed down years ago due to no one really going there, the closet one now is in the city and that is pre far away just to buy some hobby supplies
For Vallejo Water Texture, I've seen terrain makers on UA-cam wait for the water resin to dry, then apply the Vallejo Water Texture on top of it and blow on it with a straw. The Water Texture spreads out like ripples on the surface of the water and gives it a more realistic look. Personally, I mix it with acrylic paints and use it to make Warp effects for some of my Warhammer bases. If you press down on it with a stirring stick, you can get some cool-looking patterns.
Jazza, you are amazing!!! The fact that you alone were able to make this beautiful sculpture blows my mind. Thank you so much for making the content that you do and inspiring me, I would love to make things like this by myself so thanks
i have to say this is my favourite video from YOU JAZZA in forever. i know this is not the main channel, but honestly this channel is my new favourite. u loving what u do is what is missing from youtube
grok, the pigmy sasquatch, is a one of a kind subspecies of sasquatch. deep within the forgotten forests this majestic creature of thiccness searches for ponds of derpius gulpium, commonly known as gull-carp, but they aren't actually related to any carp species. grok is the only proven pigmy sasquatch to exist. some travelling merchants that frequent a path a few miles from the ponds said to be grok's hunting ground say that grok was created when a female sasquatch mated with a male owlbear, but this is disregarded by researchers due to how unlikely the two species ever mixing is. never the less, it is a marvel to behold in the wild.
It's been so long since I regularly watched your videos and this is just awesome!! I used to watcgh every video you uploaded, but stopped at some point about 2 years ago. But seeing you create again with so much fun and passion like you used to have at the very start but ever so slightly faded away over the years makes me happy too. Amazing video and diarama!!!
Amazing piece! I think many people don't understand the time it takes to achieve quality - I'm really glad that you're figuring out a way to achieve it while still satisfying the UA-cam algorithm, for our and your sakes! Good luck working it out and always excited to see more, in whatever form it comes.
signoff sugestion: This has been tabletop time, and may your time be well spent/full of adventure (maybe wary the end depending on the type of content - one-offs, miniatures, etc.)
Sir vessel bit of the third was a London guard before she walked into a chamber where a time traveler was captured and the time traveler turned him into a monster and then threw him into this new universe where he hast to figure out how to survive as a monster
I have always interested in the building of dioramas and table top landscapes and after following your main channel for a few years this is ultra satisfying to watch.
Jackie from NerdyCrafter would of been someone to help give you pointers, BUT we all know you love to learn by getting your hands right into it lol. Looks good by the way
If you use clear tape or silicone tape around the edges, it peels right off once the resin cures. It doesn't leave behind residue and is clear so you don't have to dremel or polish.
I'd honestly be very interested to see Jazza try those 3D-ish resin depth paintings, where you pour a layer of resin, paint, pour another layer of resin and paint, and repeat until you have a complete painted "3D" object. Mostly people seem to do fish, but I think you can do much more with it. More directed at the main Jazza channel, but this video made me think of it.
Meet 'Tushi', a lowland yeti, shy creatures that can become invisible when immobile, found in the transition zone just beneath the treeline, feeding on the vegetation that grows in these areas. very intelligent and masters of nature magics. Great build
Hi Jazza, came from your main channel to watch this. I'm not really one to watch other people roleplaying but I love seeing the creation of really detailed sculptures like this, and how you created all the cool effects :) Will def check back here occasionally for the minis and diorama creation videos
I recall the inspiration drawing of the monster's bum had a love heart on one cheek. I think adding the love heart could open up the backstory of the purple dude a lot. Maybe he's the cousin to Sully, and Boo joined him in a biker gang after she grew up, getting the heart tattoo after she crashed his bike but he didn't mind because she wasn't hurt in the crash.
I've talked with him only once, and he is very quiet. he just likes to sit in the grass and watch the fishes with a friend, not talking very much but knowing he has someone who cares about him. Also his name is Estanilao
Nigel was a simple fisherman who spent his days on the water, his evenings in the local Inn and his nights hearing what a disappointment he was from his spouse. While drinking at the Inn, he would see the brave adventurer's come in before setting out to seek treasure and excitement, and he always felt a little jealous. Then one day, while he was fishing, he happened to catch strange SoyFish. A huge creature with the body of a fish and the head of a bird. He was about to end it's life when the creature spoke. "Wait! Spare my life and anything you wish will be yours!" Nigel thought of this and decided to take a chance on this strange creature. "Fine," he said, "I wish to be part of the great adventures I see those travelers go on, to take me far from here." He released the fish, expecting nothing. The next morning he woke to screaming. His spouse was crying for help and when he got up he realised that he had changed. He was covered in fur, his face was a monster's maw, and his backside was shockingly pert and shiny. He could not speak, so he ran as fast as he could. Now he spends his days searching for that strange fish, while acting as a curious monster for adventurer's to attack. A wish fulfilled in the worst possible way.
Why did you sound like Magnus the Red from TTS series when you said "I was having fun ok stop judging me!" That was perfect and I kept replaying that moment, i also relate to that. This came out perfectly. BRAVO!
Yuri the Yowie , he is always feared and feels bad that he is always misunderstood, but he found a natural pond in thr Bush, and has some beautiful fish in the pond. And they don't fear him, and he loves to go and chill and watch them as everything else is always scared of him or tries to hunt him.
Hey Jazza, just a suggestion on the water effects - I actually prefer scotch/clear tape for water effects, they're thinner, more translucent and are easier to shape for effects. Excellent video, glad to see you coming back to the tabletop game :)
It is Rumble Bum the Flargner, fishing for Pakreet of course. Flargners can make a strange call that attracts the Pakreet, causing them to jump right out of the water and into its grasping claws and grinning maw.
Hes a witchetty bub, a creature often known as the moth man in other countries but in Australia he's just a bogong moth that didn't really come out of the cocoon correctly. They lurk the outback making sure tourists try the local bush tucker and follow the rules to avoid dropbears. In this diorama hes attempting to catch carp and use his magical powers to return them to their original countries habitat.
This channel is amazing and I love all its creative ideas and I’d love to see more roleplaying 1 shots with games like crystal hearts, the aliens role playing game and tales of equestria. Also the monsters name is eggbert the windy
Thats a Blopftz, a 4th dimension magical beast. They usually can be seeing alone or in pairs (when they search for partners for breeding), and they are very kind and inteligent creatures! They use their psionic abilitys to attack theys foes, but they can use their powers to do simple things, like fishing (add some purple on his hand and the fish!) they speak through telepathy and can vanish rigth before your eyes when they feel like (dimensional step/door at will!), and they love flowers (they dont have any in their dimension). The story I came up with, like if you like it: There was this fungus that could take over human bodies and turn them into zombies. Scientists were unable to find a vaccine or cure to this so instead they decided to force an evolution of the human species. They tried to combine the DNA of a gorilla and human since monkeys are close relatives of the human species and have stronger bodies, but when they found success in the experiments and started injecting it in humans, a drop of another experiment they were doing in the same lab, got into one of cups, creating a whole new species, called Bi Human 2.0(this is the scientific name)😁
Oh, and I happened to watch a pretty informative tutorial on the Vallejo water effects recently. It does have a pretty long cure time (a few hours I think) and should dry pretty clear. If yours stayed white then it probably couldn't actually dry because it was mixed in the resin. :)
Once, there was a guy called Kevin. You might think he’s in his mid life but, he’s still young for his kind… or at least we think. He isn’t human or any species humans have seen. Carl has lived his whole life in hiding from when humans learned to talk. He passes the time by watching fish and other animals and think they’re brave since Carl doesn’t like deep water or open spaces. Carl especially hates storms of any kind as that is how he believed his best buddy never came back from a hunting trip. So, Carl doesn’t think about his sad moments and focused on the fish in the pound by his home. He’s always thought about getting in the water but always got distracted by the fishes. Hey Jazza, this video was so cool, watching the process was so satisfying and amazing. I loved all the little grass stuff, also I think it would be awesome if you experimented more with the UV resin and maybe tried making like a splash effect, or like a still sculpture of something having just landed in water and the splash around it. Just a thought
Duuuuude, it DOES look amazing! I guess you could pour resin first and then do the grass, that way any spills wouldn't matter? I love the colours of the fishies and the overall magical vibe.
His species is the abounding tree troll. His species looks just like him but they are more brown and mossy green and wear large blankets that have an almost grass effect to add camouflage. They lived peaceful and exciting life and interacted with the kind and caring native american tribes. Since during those times there was no conflict in abounding tree troll community there was no need for camouflage until Christopher Columbus started his great exhibition around the world. During the time Christopher Columbus came to North America mating season began our hero was not born yet. In the abounding tree troll community only the strongest and bravest male was the protector of their tribe, and kindest, most caring, and level headed female was to be their love for life. I'LL FINISH IT LATER IF ANYONE STILL WANTS TO SEE THE REST
His name is Karl and he loves to watch the fishes, he thinks they are super brave because Karl is very afraid of the deep water in the pond.
I love this story of him
I think he looks a bit like barney the dinosaur
Sooooooo cute! Maybe Karl will make them his friends.
Looks like a Laarg, to me.
I love this idea so much!!
I think his name is Talbot. Just looks like a Talbot, idk. If you choose to spell that Talbutt, well, I can't stop you.
Talbot, the Oogle Ogre
Like the guy from Katekyo Hitman Reborn?
@@devankallasmae Never heard of it, sorry. I got the name from a street near my house.
@@live4twilight4ever A Dubliner, I see!
Talbutt for president!
Bob Ross background for the win.
Let's just put a little monster right over here
I came here looking for this comment!
"A happy little monster, with a happy little lake full of friends!"
I am so damn happy this channel was reactivated, reinvented, and I have now the chance and joy to discover it 🤩
Sleep loss -> totally worth it!!
I’m with you this channel channels my love for art and gaming.

Wow
I agree
And atttracts mates with its shining butt
this is amazing!!! he feels so real now... 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🌾🌾🌾🌾💕💕💕💕✨✨✨✨

We made little environments for pop vinyls for our wedding centrepieces and we used some of their grasses from Sik Hobbies in Perth. Great local hobby store and great products.
I just can't stop looking at the heart on the butt, the backstory on that but has to be amazing

Tip for U.V. Resin, use a printer ink refill syringe, gives you more control than the large bottle opening.

Nice, I love projects like these. So goofy yet so fun to look at.
I've been watching the roleplaying videos on this channel, but I'll definitely start watching your mini painting
Loved the jumping fish and the grasses
Oh, NO! More stuff I want to try! Damn you, Jazza! Found you a couple months ago through Bob Ross and now I’m here and drooling!

Here's my favorite thing about this. I already have a crap ton of UV resin because we use it all the time when making flies for fly fishing.
Hey Jazza, just a suggestion on the water effects - I actually prefer scotch/clear tape for water effects, they're thinner, more translucent and are easier to shape for effects. Excellent video, glad to see you coming back to the tabletop game :)
Seeing where this came from to the final product is crazy!
Jazza - does UV resin printing
Also Jazza - doesn't use that resin for water FX.
It is Rumble Bum the Flargner, fishing for Pakreet of course. Flargners can make a strange call that attracts the Pakreet, causing them to jump right out of the water and into its grasping claws and grinning maw.

Amazing!!! Love it, thanks to you i have gone back to the hobby
I do this with wax all the time. I made a little wax swan one time that came put pretty well. It was fun to watch melt.
Use a thin nylon tread (like the thinnest fishing wire) as a amature to hold drops in the air when you use UV resin
I did this trick about a month ago on some aquatic bases with Bondic. Came out great!
I love the idea to create a diorama for your bigger miniatures. I will have to take that idea and create some

ND 9, True Neutral, STR 15 INT 20 CAR 9 WIS 16 DEX 14 CONS 14
Looks great!, I usually leave the vallejo still water and vallejo water texture 24hrs before I mess with them since it takes a long time to cure.
The monster was confused. When people said,"Sun's out, buns out!" He was looking for a nude beach.
I just realized how new this is
Edit:Thanks for all the likes everyone who liked this comment!

The resin really does give that "frozen in time" effect to the water

It's okay Jazza, we're not judging you, please continue planting grasses :')
I love the colours of the fishies and the overall magical vibe.
love this channel
It is the rare Buttalotus. A new species derived from a baboon and a sasquatch.
Hi Jazza, if it is not a secret what brand of UV Resin do you use? I can’t find a proper one.
I do!
