27 years young and in fantastic condition. The best part is the cross ventilation in the aft cabin. Love your reviews Ruben!

Fairline makes fine boats. In this age and category of boats,I have seen or driven pretty much everything from major builders and I found that the Cruisers yachts 280cxi offered the most complete package paired with good build quality. I couldn’t believe how much they were able to put in and at a high level of craftsmanship. I remember how the interior was all covered in some type of material with no exposed gelcoat and just looked a class above anything else in that price range. I guess that’s why they sell pretty fast when they show up on the used market.

Age is just a number and do you need that $15,000 worth of work on the hall or the motor or the object or some part of it on the electronics

Get rid of all the weird decorations, they're creepy. Seems like a decent price for what you get.

9.2 litres of petrol power, ouch!

I think you mean 8.6 lol. These engines are actually quite reasonable on fuel when propped correctly. But in no way cheap.

@@smileoftenatsea Yes, I misheard, I thought he said 4.6 litre each. I had a 4.3 in a 18ft bowrider, it was reasonably quick. But 2 pushing a boat of that size would fair drink the stuff I reckon...

@@Nick_G7IZR I would estimate around 100L/h for both engines, cruising around 20kn. These were not built to run at high rpm for long so top speed around 30kn would be safe for short periods and would likely consume double. They are heavy boats closing on 10k lbs, so a lot more weight to push than the bowrider. Still pretty decent engines when maintained regularly.
