    Hello Dr. Leo, what states allow the specialties, and what accept the certificates? Is it true that if you graduate as an specialist you just can work the specialty?

    • @DentalAcademyUSA

      You would have to look up online for the states. About the graduation, it is not clear, however, I know a few people who graduate with a specialty but received an unrestricted license. I think it depends on the state.

    Good Prof. thanks for all the information, I hope you reply me 😢. I have my sister who’s into the dental surgery school in Ghana, africa. And this is how the dental school in Ghana runs, you’ll have to be in the college for 4yrs and finally be in the dental school for 2yrs so basically you spending 6yrs in school. My sister will be in America with her green card and I will like you to confirm for me with a thorough background information if she can practice here in America . Thank you and I love your channel. I’m going to subscribe and send her your channel to follow you for all the updates 👍

      Hi doc, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, she cannot practice in the US without further education. There are a few loopholes where you can practice without going to school again, but the rule of thumb is that she will need to do some school before she can practice here. Thanks for sharing my content!

    Hi Doc, Thanks for the video! If we apply for the Limited license in MA, they sponsor the working visa H1b? I heard it is difficult to find a clinic that sponsor the visa. I currently applied the IDP this year cycle but got rejected and I don't know what to do. Some said, I can try to apply dental faculty in MA, instead of limited license because if I apply for the faculty, they provide a visa whereas limited license does not.. Please let me know if there are other info that I do not know. Thank you!

I only heard about one person that had a visa sponsored, it was about 10 years ago and I don't have details. I would review your application to try to understand the reasons why there was no call for interviews. Best of luck!

    Great Video! What about the green card holders who chose to study abroad and go back to US? Are there any dental schools that the US Universities do not accept for Advanced Standing program?

    • @DentalAcademyUSA
      @DentalAcademyUSA  7 місяців тому

      That is a great question and a possible option for some people. In fact, I have a few people in my own course that did it. There are several dental school in the US, however, not all of them accept students for the Advanced Standing program. Therefore, to go on the shorter route, you would have to apply to a school that has an AS program.

      Hi doc, the orthodontic career is fantastic! As like in any other profession, if you work hard, study a lot and become great in what you do, you will do really well. I expect things to get better for sure. I have a couple friends at the GSO program, and they love it!
