Am I the only one who thinks the Anime is creepier than the Manga? Seriously, for a lot of Mangas the anime adaptions come off very creepy. I don't know why. I prefer the manga over the anime any day, mainly because the anime tends to cut stuff out a lot.
I prefer the manga too, but for me also mainly because the anime is plotless, it only talks about the mental problems of Ritsuka but not the main point which is the truth about his brother and the events that actually happened, and yes i think that Soubi's "weird actions" are better explained in the manga, while the anime shows him as a total pedo without any scenes or moments in his past, his kisses/hugs doesn't have any sexual or bad intentions which is quite shown in this one panel in the second volume also after seeing his past.
God the anime is so bad. The manga is so much better. Soubi is creepy for 3-4 volumes but like. That's actually the point. He starts to both develop and show his real authentic personality and we learn why he was the way he was at the beginning. Doesn't excuse it but knowing why recontextualies everything.
I hate the english dub TwT Konishi san's voice is wayyyyyyyyy better than this but still, I wanna pay my respects to both Konishi san and the english va for saying these creepy/funny lines XD
I got the 1 and 2 volume of the manga and I've wanted to get the rest and then watch the anime Thing is I don't have anything to watch the anime on, I've checked hulu and Netflix and crap and im left with sad cuz I dont have anything else for this T~T I really like some of these scenes tho lolol
