We showed my nephew this movie when he was younger. He's 12 now, he watched it when he was 8 or 9. He's seen the newer Jumanji movies and he hates them, prefers the original. Made me feel proud of him for seeing the quality in the original's story telling. All Hollywood knows how to do now is turn everything into smart-ass jokes, like the humor from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer show.
