“No no it’s all right that’s just a traffic cop he’ll back us up.” One of my favorite lines 😂. Wonderful stop sign when she sees all the animals stampede before the light turns green.
6:52 ROBIN WILLIAMS: "I Warned you about this, Peter. No, you wanted to play the game. What are you crying? You don't cry. All right? Keep your chin up. Come on, keep your chin up. Crying never helped anybody do anything, OK? You have a problem, you face it like a man!". -Robin Williams. Strong Quote.
So, you missed the part where he immediately regrets saying that, right? Like, it's a strong quote, but, it's not something you ought to tell a kid like Peter (who, BTW, did NOT want to play the game; he cheated cos he wanted the game to end, for _everyone's_ sakes - gah, I feel so sad for him...)
Do you notice around 3:50 mark Van is saying “I said cut cut cut!” I wonder if that was an oopsie the studio left in. I always noticed that as a child.
It’s been almost 10 years since the tragic loss of one of the finest actors & voice talents. He voiced Batty from Furngully: The Last Rainforest & Genie from Disney’s 31st Animated Feature Aladdin. Before he acted in Jumanji as Alan Parrish.
*"You didn't roll the dice, Alan did."* So is that saying that the things that come out of the game can only attack the player that released them from the game?
1:09 The Brantford Police Department logo is a picture of the shoe factory!!! That would make sense considering Parrish Shoes probably what was what put Brantford on the map.
Carl Bentley freed his old friend Alan Parrish. Carl Bentley knows a gun shooting at a store. Peter and Judy and Sarah are hostaged by a madman with a gun.
dont get me wrong, I don't dislike the 2017 "Welcome to the jungle" I like it as well, but the original even with its creepy bad CGI still holds a special place in my heart alongside the 2010s ones. because while I love Kevin hart, Jack Black and Dwayne Johnson. They can't top the performance that Robin Williams and the other talent that is involved in the Original.
fun fact: during filming, the rhino glitched on the computer they were using to create the cg characters and loved the animation so much it made it into the final cut
Any sane person: Remain in the car, drive away if you must. Nora Shepherd: Gets out of the car when she can just look from inside the car just fine and got herself into Monkey Business as a result.
5:47 Well that's definitely not the weirdest thing I've ever seen. A stampede of wild jungle animals of every shape and size. 6:09 have a good day big guy. Rhino: Thanks for waiting sir. Me: Your welcome Mr.Rhino. Hey everyone what is the weirdest thing you've ever seen while driving home?
"Stop your cringing, woman! I could've shot you at any moment". "Then why didn't you"? "You didn't roll the dice, ALAN did". With everything that's going on in the movie, hard to imagine any rules being present. Then Van Pelt says this line
Somehow I can't help but wonder that if anyone could take a camera shot of that street 5:48 - 6:04, could they try and make a newer version of the stampede running past? while there is just one camera shot, have the stampede run through the road. Like imagine just one camera shot, or photo of that crossroad and the one stampede crossing. I would think it'll be with the 21 rhinos, 10 elephants, and 20 zebras, but also maybe add other animals like 20 giraffes, 10 hippos, 21 cape buffalo, 20 wildebeests, 20 gemsboks, 21 gazelles, 20 ostriches.
in a sense they way he scorned peter for reckless ness it's like a disapproving father and a son needing direction in his life. i guess Alan did learn how to be a man from his dad bet it reminded him of his last talk with his father.
So… Alan threw away the keys and locked the handcuffs onto the frame of the door. 15 seconds later, he is able to both close the door and turn the keys in the ignition. Come on writer, you can do better than that.
"26 years buried in the deepest, darkest jungle and I still became my father."
That hit hard.
7:24 Generational trauma
Great line.
3:39
😂😂😂😂 That's funny the way Van Pelt was screaming like that! 😂😂😂😂😂
I always find that part so satisfying considering how petrified our heroes were throughout most of the movie.
@@caitlinjane92Yeah, I agree. It might be a lot funnier spider monkey screams like at 3:39 while falling 200 feet in the air.
Lol
The aaaaaaaaaaaaaah with girly voice 😂😂😂😂
7:20 such a tender moment. I’m glad Allen realised how his behaviour was negative and apologised and gave him comforting words.
7:27 me too. And, he immediately apologized for his behavior.
0:50 "Call the cops!"
As they're looting the store.
R.I.P Robin. Gone but never forgotten.🙏
6:55 I can’t believe he passed away in 10 years ago.
He has more charisma than the entire cast of the new Jumanji films.
7:53 I’ve got to say that Peter’s 🙉 curse is really like a Dr Seuss books.
“No no it’s all right that’s just a traffic cop he’ll back us up.” One of my favorite lines 😂. Wonderful stop sign when she sees all the animals stampede before the light turns green.
Strange how those monkeys didn't try to shoot Alan or Carl .... considering those monkeys engaged in pretty aggressive behaviors
He will never be forgotten ❤
6:31 Worker: Sir! You got to pay for that before you use it!
🤣
I don't think anyone cares.

Strong Quote.
Alan, he's not your kid!

2:04 Even Carl's car reversing sounds like him screaming 😂
Perhaps it actually is him screaming due to Alan drivinf?
That scream at 3:35 always kills me.
It's a great scream. Lol
5:20 “So remember, circumstances are never ever out of your control.”
Yeah, right…
beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppppp END OF TAPE 3
Do you notice around 3:50 mark Van is saying “I said cut cut cut!” I wonder if that was an oopsie the studio left in. I always noticed that as a child.
No. His facial expression indicates he is in character, not the actor.
“Oh oh we got company”
And so I proceed to laugh my guts off at the monkey’s on the bike 😂😂😂😂😂
I love that line.
@@patrickwilson1459 Me too and I love at 3:01-04 they're like...

Hey everyone what is the weirdest thing you've ever seen while driving home?
The weirdest thing I have ever seen while driving home was the time I saw a tractor trailer engulfed in flames on the side of the highway.
this was filmed in Branford New Hampshire
What changes have happened in the America of this movie and the America of today?Because America is so beautiful in this movie
Do you think those paint cans would have killed a normal person?
I've wondered the same thing.
no but you'd have a nasty concussion and maybe some large bruising.
Marv from Home Alone 2 suffered the same fate, and survived.
"Stop your cringing, woman! I could've shot you at any moment".
"Then why didn't you"?
"You didn't roll the dice, ALAN did".
With everything that's going on in the movie, hard to imagine any rules being present. Then Van Pelt says this line
None of those animals are jungle animals 😂😂
5:02 no way in reality one can survive all them paint cans falling onto you without at the very least some form of injury

He threw the handcuff keys, not the car keys.
he threw away the handcuffs keys not the car keys
So… Alan threw away the keys and locked the handcuffs onto the frame of the door.
