I would actually throw the controller at the ground so the battery cover could open. Then I found an easier solution, which is to bang the controllers together until the battery cover pops off.

@@r_q5227 If one would say oculus 2 in a literal sense it would point to the Rift S. Quest 2 is the 4th existing headset from OR. It would get confusing really quick accounting for all the older pc exclusive HMD.

Please use your strap, while the quest 2 controller is very durable, it’s also very easy to throw, or drop. Repeated dropping and throwing will happen overtime If you don’t use the strap, and the damage will add up, even if you use a simple comfort diy mod such as the vive loop it will do wonders over time.
