I’m so happy I started looking up the original way to Bujo. I found the aesthetic trend first and tried it 4 times but nothing stuck. Was just another chore, but this is truly so useful.

I’ve been following this ritual for some time now, and the way I look at it, is that you’re helping to create a monthly index to help you find notes you’ve taken for a particular event/meeting/celebration etc. You no longer have to go through all your pages to recall, you can just go back through the monthly logs to refer you to the page (sometimes I’ve noted the page numbers referring to the event in the monthly log - e.g. notes from a medical appointment). And to help me remember things to back-fill my month: a) my digital calendar app; b) my weekly and daily logs; and c) each week when I do my weekly logs, I back fill a week of my monthly log to help distribute the load.

    Dear Ryder,
You have changed how I plan, how I journal, how I make notes, and I’m sure there are other things I have forgotten.
I am rereading your book for at least the 3rd time and always get something new out of it. I can’t thank you enough for what you have shared with the world.
    God bless you!

I'm so happy I came across your bullet journal method. I am trying to bring myself out of ADHD/Autism burnout and I have been feeling lost. I realized I was just going through the motions. I want to be more intentional and present in my life, more focused. I am hopeful this method will help me.

This is fantastic, thank you for doing the live and posting this monthly ritual here. I am been struggling with setting up my monthlies and figuring out how to use one journal for both personal and professional journalling. This gives me the clarity on how to do that!

I started my first bullet journal just before Christmas last year and it's been excellent. Having that additional clarity around what I can do, what I need to do and when has been really empowering. Thanks for developing this system!

Thank you, thank you! I have recently gone back to bullet journaling after using a Hobonichi Cousin for the last couple of years and I am once again so impressed with this amazing system that you have curated and given to us. The bujo method is amazing and sharing your monthly ritual was powerful. I just completed mine for June and am ready for July. I love the flexibility of this system and how it truly can fit any aspect of my life at any given moment. Thank you so much for this video and I hope you keep sharing!

How do I apply to have Ryder as my bestie though? The love of my life aka my Dad passed away a month ago and it feels as though everything I had planned or wanted, died with him. That said, this tutorial came at the right time. It’s left me feeling inspired and encouraged for the first time in a while.
Thanks Ryder. You are appreciated. ❤

Good content. The Japanese and their lean systems have a process called the five whys to go to the root of a problem. The first why only usually hits the surface, not the root cause.

Really useful presentation - it shows how to bring together the various parts of the journal so that it is a more holistic tool, which is something that's been difficult for me.

Interesting 🤔 I only use daily logs. Hate when I make a pretty weekly just to not journal at all that week 💀🤣 This has got me thinking though. I do like the timeline and reflection bit, and what did you call it, the action plan from month to month... 🤔🙂

On my first BuJo, which is experimental and chaotic, I left blank pages for some collections I wanted to keep straight away, such as reading tracker, food tracker, etc. And they don't all get filled so they didn't get used. I glued on then some pictures I had taken. But since then I write one page at a time when I need it.

I get overwhelmed with a whole bullet journal. I bought the pocket bullet journals. 3 in a packet with the instructions attached. I’m hoping I can manage the smaller size first. Also it fits in my small purse or most men’s pockets.

If you know in advance, put it in the monthly spread, I typically keep 4 sheets for every week, fold it in half (Mon, Tue,Wed,Thu, next page Friday, Sat/Sun - other side, one page for action items and reminders for the week)

    Question:
Why is your voice and your picture in your videos not in sync? 🤔It is not the first time this is the case. It is always a few ms async. Is this on purpose?
