Jake - with the amount of exposure you're giving old jeeps and new, Chrysler, Quadratec, ARB, Rugged Ridge, etc should seriously consider sponsoring you. The amount of new and older Jeeps on your channel is amazing! Think of the aftermarket exposure!! Great job - your vlogging, video, camera, and drone skills are unparalleled!!
The ceiling is low for the same reason it's high in hot climates. The low ceiling keeps the heat that rises closer to the peeps. EPIC journey, thanks for sharing.
Dude you put so much effort into this vlog! It must have taken hours and hours to edit but it was beautiful! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us in such a unique way!
Cracked and chipped windshields are a way of life for Jeep Wranglers. I have had my 2017 just a few months, and about 2300 miles so far and have four chips and one big crack. Here in Alaska they use gravel on the paved roads in winter for traction on ice, and also there are lots of gravel roads still compared to the rest of the US.
Jake it is crazy watching you at 3,000 subscribers and learning the art of Vlogging to now with 33,000 and these crazy shots you get. Keep up the great work bud!
Hey Jake, great videos man! Remember me, I am Canyon_Cliff of Overland Bound. You probably remember my dog Nicky better. We rode to the Grand Canyon together. Well I just watched this video and Nicky went crazy when she saw Annie. Whined through the whole thing. She wanted to be there as much as I did. Travel safe and have a great adventure.
Hey Jake. Next time you make it down Colorado check out the Great sand dunes. There's a 4x4 road that starts near the east side of the dunes that crosses over the Sangre De Cristo Mountain range eastbound and connects into Colorado City and Rye. That was my first major Jeep adventure and what got me addicted to it. It's not super technical but it's very scenic and there are places to camp along the road. Took me just over a half day to complete it. Good luck and stay safe out there.
OMG, I don't always get to watch your channel BUT when I do I find myself smiling the whole time! I live in Colorado and love it. Taking a road trip at the end of May into June heading to Kansas, then Dancing Rabbit Eco Village in Missouri, then off to Wisconsin (Camp deerhorn for summer job)...maybe see you on the road : )
Glad to see you're in Colorado! My friend and I brought our Jeeps out to Telluride late July last year so we could experience the off-road trails they had to offer. My first off-road trail ever was Black Bear Pass! Quite the thrill!
holy shit! i was on the same road as you and saw those same deer. had to look at the upload date and it had to be the same day! So Crazy!! Unreal! Anyway, hope you are still putting miles on the trip! safe vibes your way! love your work!
I recently picked up an EPAuto 12V DC Portable Air Compressor Pump, Digital Tire Inflator 100 PSI on amazon for like 40 bucks. I think on prime for like 34.87 It works like a charm. Auto shuts off at the psi you set and saves the hassle of trying to find a gas station to air up your tires. Comes with a carrying bag and extra fitting to air up other stuff too. Perhaps something to look into, or add to the wish list :) Love the jeeps btw and the videos you put up!
Jake I love that area!!! Was up there about 2 years ago camped in Cunningham Gulch East of Silverton and South of Howardsville. Didn't make it to animus forks but sure wanted to. This year I camped on other side of of cinnamon pass about 5 miles east of Lake City. Ouray is such a pretty area. If you went up toward Bird I have camped in that area. So far my favorite part of the state. You should also check out the sand dunes North West of Alamos CO.
Great story telling and great video editing. I'm not easily impressed, but you do good work. I especially like your drone work while you are driving. I'm going to have to practice that!
9:37 harbor freight has a cheap passable 12v pump, just be sure to start it before you hook it up or it'll run backwards and pump the air out of your tires...
I'm thinking Colorado cottage over Wisconsin cottage. Bigger mountains, and closer to Cali, Utah, etc. Wisconsin will be the cool place to go back to. (sorry Nancy, lol)
iamjake thank so much! I hope you and Annie are doing good! I've been watching your videos every chance I get. You're really inspiring! How do I become a patrion pledge?
Hey Casey - Thank you! Annie and I are doing great! To become a Patreon pledge, you can go to - www.patreon.com/iamjake - Appreciate the support and for following my journey!
I've watched your channel grow over the last few month's and watch how you put your video's together. You are going to be one of the next 50 million subscribers Jake, look forward to what the future hold for you my friend! How does one go about contacting you Jake to plan something for my state?
Hi One Production! If you haven't already, fill out the 50 State Questionnaire, it's the best way to let Jake know where you are and to cross paths when he's in your state. Link in video description
day of the broken windshilds ... ask my yj ... the exact same day when me and my sister where in Sweden on our way to North Cape from Germany when my cooler and windshield met some stones brought to us by a racing truck ... this really sucks ...
You really need to reinforce that roof rack, that thing is flexing a lot with the weight on it. It's going to end up cracking and falling on your fiberglass top eventually
Jake, I don't know if you have looked at it, but does your Jeep have a Dana 35 or 44 rear axle? Whit the diesel conversion, you'll have a lot more torque and the 35 isn't the strongest. You might be able to find a Cherokee with a leaf spring 44. When you head to Indiana, I'll even help you regear it to match your front or match the tire size a little better!
Jake, what was wrong with your drive door window when you was looking at the Rams? Silverton, Ouray, and Durango are some beautiful places! Me the wife and kids was just there a couple weeks ago with the jeep to do some trails and to ride the train. We stayed in Silverton for 4 nights and absolutely loved it!! Sadly most of the trails around The area was still closed for snow and mud, but for the 4 or 5 trails we did hit it was totally worth the trip.. We will be back for sure just towards the end of summer!!
KFStreich yeah that's what I was thinking it was too, but I thought I'd ask anyways cause it kinda looked like it fell halfway down.. If that was the case I was going to try and explain to him how to fix it cause I know them yj hard doors like the back of my hand!
Ok awesome thanks for the reply Jake, it just looked a little funny! I figured it was just snow and ice, but it also looked a little like the window fell off the slider at the same time haha just couldn't get a good enough look! I hope you guys enjoyed the drive from Silverton to Ouray and got plenty of good footage of the beautiful views and the waterfalls.. Such a nice drive!

Amazin!
Brutal, brutal and beautiful!
dude, I think I saw your jeep in Denver. where you here??
How does one fly a drone and drive at jeep at the same time!? Awesome vlog keep it up!!
Dana 35
did u use a drone for some of those birds eye view shot
ARB makes a winch w/ an air compressor, pretty sweet set up! ARB or Warn......google it,
Roofs are low on old houses to keep warmth better. Poor insulation and heating so (:

D G I rolled the window down and the ice on the window stayed in place? so it was a sheet of ice standing up right
Ok awesome thanks for the reply Jake, it just looked a little funny! I hope you guys enjoyed the drive from Silverton to Ouray and got plenty of good footage of the beautiful views and the waterfalls.. Such a nice drive!
And i thought, that we have snow here in Finland. Hah.
Those drone shots? Is that Mavic Pro in 1080p?
