Love it. Nice clean set up. I enjoy watching how others organize and how it works well for them. There is no right or wrong way. I am in the camp of individually labeled SKUs. I have tried several methods and what I learned is that I'm either spending time on the front end or the back end of the entire process. It was a wash, so I went with what makes me feel personally satisfied.

I individually label each card with a different number for speed in pulling them for shipping

I sell a fair amount and i like numbering each one individually. Once you start selling 100s a day the time saved is alot. So mine go in sleeves with a number. Having a fliling system like yours is great if your only selling a few a day though. Great way to start

Great video and good system. I use clear tubs that I have purchased locally for around $1.99 per tub and on my cards I sleeve them all with new penny sleeves and "reposition-able" Avery address labels from my printer. I also cut up my own "dividers" out of 100# thick cardstock. (to save some money). Each one of my cards has a SKU# that corresponds with the SKU# on my eBay listing. I get about 450 cards per tub and mine have covers so I can easily stack them up, 3 high on my shelves. I also label the outside front of each tub with the number sequence corresponding with the cards in that tub. Between each divider I have about 25 cards.

I do it the same way you do Kameron. I am only up to B50. I somehow missed this video when it aired. Great Job!

Wow, you have wayyy more cards than I thought. See it does get overwhelming very quickly but glad to see you started off on the right foot with having an inventory system.

What size are the containers you use to put the postcards in ? And do they come with lids to keep the cards from getting dusty ?

I just started my postcard shop a 3 weeks ago and I'm only at 380 listings. What I started that I think I can scale and grow well.
I have a full box of postcards. I've labeled the box A. I pull cards from one end. Scan, list, put in a new sleeve with a numbered sticker and file in the back of the box.
The biggest bonus I've seen right away with numbering each card is ease of finding, but also no confusion if I have a nearly identical card 2 cards away. Far less chance I will ever send out the wrong card.
Still learning. Thanks for showing your process.

How are you doing today with the cards? I am always curious if someone sticks with it or not. I hope you're doing well with the store.

Nice, looks good. I'm similar to Mark and do the individual SKU on every card. I use those little post-it flags and stick em on each sleeve.

Each of my postcards is a unique number, which is also the file name for the scanned card. I list on a couple of sites, so being able to locate each card's image easily is important.

I have implemented this system. So far so good. I did like having them arranged by Topic but it became to crazy to find a "sold postcard".

I have been considering organizing mine by state. I have under 1,000 currently and that seems reasonable.. We'll see as I grow haha.

Each of my postcards receive its own state code and numbe so each one feels special 😂.
It takes a little time when listing, but not much. Just a sticker on the plastic sleeve. But it saves a whole lot of time when pulling orders not having to flip thru cards and know exactly where one card is. Both systems have pluses and better pluses
