Hello In the event that I wanted to put (collagen powder or bleaching powder) on face beautification creams _ at what stage can I add the powder? Is after the completion of making the cream? Or boil it with distilled water? Or do I put it with melted wax or at any point exactly I want the powder to blend comfortably and perfectly with the cream mixture
Just an FYI for ppl watching: Other great oil for the skin are Kukui nut oil (I love this one), Baobab oil (love it too, but it's kinda expensive), Safflower oil, Jojoba oil, Sunflower oil and Camillia oil. For an oil-free version, substitute oil with Caprylic Capric Triglyceries. :D
I have so many issues with this. First, she adds water and oils with no emulsifying wax. Literally nothing else will emulsify water and oils other than an emulsifying wax. Beeswax and lanolin do not emulsify water and oil. I REPEAT beeswax and lanolin WILL NOT emulsify the oils and water. Also, she adds no preservative. This should be kept in the fridge or thrown out within one week.
@@Honeyglam Yes, absolutely distilled water. Witchhazel is fine but it works best for an oily complexion. Also, she put her fingers in the recipe. Oh my! Tried the recipe with and all the ingredients, they do not all blend well together, once you set your cream the oils separates and when you try it on your hands it has a sticky feeling. Once last thing , there is no preservative therefore this hand cream will keep bacteria into your container. Although the lanolin can be a preservative the quantity is too little for the balance of the products, i would suggest to add a preservative and use liquid Aloe vera instead of a gel.
why you're adding the essential oils to water, I'll never understand. Also lanolin and beeswax are not emulsifiers and you haven't added a preservative...
+Dolma Lama I wouldn't use it on acne prone skin, beeswax and coconut oil are both comedogenic. You may find other oils and emulsifiers work better, but I wouldn't use these exact ingredients. Almond oil is much better for all skin types than coconut oil.
Phenonip protects against mold and bacteria in DIY lotion and scrub. It's a must-have for people who sell handmade bath and body products. vitamin E oil yes i wonder why she didnt put vitamin E oil or how about tree tea oils ... and whats this about bacteria what if you cover it properly and put it in the fridge maybe it needs to stay cool
Exactly, I buy 99% organic Aloe Vera gel. Rest 1% are thickeners ( certified for organic cosmetics) and preservatives allowed for usage in organic cosmetics. It depends where you buy, and how much you pay:)
So looking at your Saucepan, is it not recommended to put a saucepan with the ingredients directly on the flames.?

wow amazing
where is the preservative? if water is use in a lotion, you need a preservative in order to stop bacteria and fungus to grow....
I guess you could add vitamin E.
Or citric acid?
Heks Box Vitamin E is not a preservative. It can boost the shelf-life of oil-based products by acting as an antioxidant, but that’s it.
Freddie Mercury It is actually used as a preservative. Not for ridiculously long periods of time, but it is.
Heks Box If it’s a water-based product, Vitamin E will do absolutely nothing to stave off the growth of bacteria.
With all these ingredients, is it still cheaper to make this rather than buy it ?
The cream is AMAZING when one switches the beeswax with BTMS-50
Demetrius L. Flagg and how about the lanolin ? Do we still need it if we added BMS 50

Taylor Poole , you're exactly right, *** she does NOT know what she is talking about***!
You're wrong beeswax is an emulsifier.
@@andreattard333 no it is not. It hardens a mixture but not go towards binding the elements. formulabotanica.com/beeswax-is-not-an-emulsifier/
Hello . How many grams do I put in emulsifying wax on a cream weight of 100 grams? Is 3 grams of emulsifying wax enough?
Hi beautiful lady thank you for your guidance would you please write me the names of the materials English thank you for your helping 🙏🙏🙏❤️🌹🌹😘😘
Can anyone help me write the components
Thank for your idea on how to make a natural face creams and it so very great to try at home...
Excellent. Thank you! It’s so dry where I live and no regular creams work EXCEPT the natural ones for this kind of dry but I’m all out! 😅
this recipe has not worked for me!
i didnt have lanolin and i doubled the beeswax and i still got separation of water and oil!
plus it was so greasy!
Witch Hazel instead of water.
great idea! or distilled water at the very least. id hate to think she was using tap water in this.

Where is the preservatives when use water in making lotions an cream it needs preservative to prevent mold an bacteria an fungus

What is the shelf life of this cream?
Instead of water you can add some kind of freshly squeezed juice.
Amazing
can you plz write all the ingredients right here plz plz plz thanks
i am waiting
How long does this last for ?
I can’t believe she puts her fingers in ...
A good preservative is Phenonip. Its a cheap preservative and you can get it at Brambleberry

Ashley Sadie Rodrigues love u

Where do you get coconut oil?
Have you ever been to a store?
Love coconut but the oil smells funny on my skin.
Can I use hydrogen peroxide as a preservative for my lotion

vitamin E oil yes i wonder why she didnt put vitamin E oil or how about tree tea oils ... and whats this about bacteria what if you cover it properly and put it in the fridge maybe it needs to stay cool
PLEASE! USE GLOVES! NO PRODUCTS SHOULD BE DONE WHIT OUT GLOVES, OR AT LIST , DON'T PUT YOUR FINGERS IN IT!.... GERMS.....
two words... gloves and spatulas!
could someone suggest a good preservative?
Pure vitamin E
liquid germall plus! Vitamin E , is not a preservative! is antioxidant! to different thins.
Optiphen
That is a lot of cream for one batch , I would be really worried about bacteria as well..
Aloe vera and essential oils blocks progesterone receptors so not good for those with oestrogen dominance
thanks, please explain what you mean.. I suffer from endometriosis.... so gotta be careful!!
My pet peeve is when people put their bare hands into the products they're making 😖
Just add sandelwood oil & pure rose water instead of plain water to it and see the magic....
Any amount of water in a beauty product needs a preservative.
This needs a preservative. You will cause more harm than good, if you don’t.
I was wondering about this. Coconut is a natural antimicrobial. Can her concoction still go bad having coconut oil in it?
This recipe is wrong in so many levels. No proper emulsifer, no broad spectrum preservative, not practicing sanitary, uses bare hands, eeewww...
Hi there, I just want to let you know that aloe vera gel is Not natural. It contains lots of chemicals and natural aloe vera.

She is not only making luxiers cream, she is also putting lot's of bacteria in that cream... 😀
