You know what really would be cool, a B button challenge for that game! however i think A would fit better for jump in N64, so A button challenge, ABC for short!
@@junyong0716 For ABC I'll have to vote for SM64DS and not sm64 because you can play through a good chunk without being a god. When I played these 2 without jumping in 2012, I had 12 stars in sm64 and 52 or 53 stars in sm64ds. Plus, you can do fire-sea without jumping in SM64DS

Somebody know what was the point of going to the locked door outside the castle and spawning the key rabbit outside? I assume it’s some sort of manip to make clipping the black block easier but idk
So, there is a mechanic where if you do the TTM slide and then you die it respawns you there once you return? If yes that sure is a weird piece of media i would tell my grandkids or smth lmao
It’s the same mechanic that respawns you in the volcano in LLL or the pyramid in SSL if you die in one of those places. But unlike the original you aren’t supposed to be able to die after exiting the slide
@@Migu6 This is what i love about videogames, the developers had no intentions of this scenario ever happening, yet they left it in and many years later it turns out a Tas is able to discover and use advantage of it. All cogs of this world have an use and nothing ever is useless until time proves it otherwise. We live in a crazy world right?
@@scorpion2.411 Unlikely. They probably added the mechanic to all levels, then added the cage once they realized that it didn't make sense to spawn there after death.
He went through that loading zone previously but died. If you die on the slide, it puts you at the beginning of the slide when you re-enter the stage. I'm guessing this is the same deal but with the slide exit loading zone
Exiting the slide was the last loading zone we left in the stage. Since we cancelled the star, the game puts us back at this point. It's like when you die in the volcano in LLL, you start in the volcano again
We don't really wait that long to get Luigi and Wario, we just get a lot of stars on the way to minimize castle movement time. I'm pretty sure all of the stars that Luigi and Wario save time on are delayed until we get them

The fact that collecting a star and then entering a loading zone collects it without kicking you out is clutch

@@Walouisgi It's actually to setup a glitch done way later in the run that requires this as a step for some reason
