Yeah, it's crazy how much he put in! I've heard mixed things about the film but I kinda want to see it at some point just to have an opinion.

here in Iraq, we have a pirated network service that stream all kinds of media, including movies and tv shows from all over. few years ago, i watched this film on this platform, and i was shocked and astonished. but apparently people really did not like it, so they removed it i think, because i could not find it later.

Interesting. I could easily imagine that it would be quite offensive but interesting that it was enough to cause them to remove it. Thanks for sharing that info as I found it fascinating.

For me, Midori is the most disturbing anime I have seen. It's also depressing and sad. I kinda like "disturbing" movies like Cannibal Holocaust and Takashi Miike's films, but Midori is somehow more uncomfortable. Definitely wont watch it again haha. Nido to Mezamenu Komori Uta, aka The Death Lullaby is also very uncomfortable, disturbing and eerie.

Oh wow! Amazing to hear that! Ah, I only heard about that short due to doing research on the guy who made Midori since it's the same guy.

It's on 9anime, why not watch it there?

Because I don't pirate. If it's not on a properly licensed DVD/Blu-ray or on a legal streaming service (may as well mention not in the public domain as well) then I'm not going to watch it as I don't want to steal from the hardworking creators who produce this content.
