Second ride this season. It's minus degrees during night and about 5-7 during day.
Yamaha XT660R.
6500km ridden Mitas MC23 front
Worn rear Maxxis m6006
Nicecnc GPS holder. Cost 35€ and is perfect after this torture test.

Its a rare occasion for the XT to stall. My 2006 works perfect. The 2004-2005 had most issues but can be fixed. All single cylinders ive ridden like KTM 690, Yamaha wr450F, wr250F, DR650, KTM exc 250F, Husqvarna 350. They all stall. KTM 690 was the worst, almost impossible to ride slow when the fan kicked in. Died all the time. 5000km ridden.

Ah good to know. I had one for a few years and loved it. I think mine was a 2005 as it happens. - I am certainly not as experienced as yourself off-road though. Really enjoyed that video to see what this bike is capable of 😊

Incredible some of those hills are only a couple of degrees off being walls. It even looks steep on video. Some of the extra run ups he was having to create were superb
