After a few pictures you can hear what the Borla Atak mufflers and custom exhaust system sounds like on a 1967 Chevy C10 Truck.

In respect to borla, wich never lets down, this just sounds and reminds me a old VW beetle

It's because he put the X pipe.
To all the haters...The x-pipe is what's giving it the different tone. An x-pipe equals the pressure and adds torque.
Actually the x pipe equals the pressure but a H pipe will create more torque

I still prefer my 68s exhaust system over this. I love Borla and prefer it over any of the other brands, but it just doesn't seem to have the same effect on old carbureted engines as a set of true dual glass packs.
They have a high pitch euro sound but thats also due to the fact you have an x-pipe they tend to make it a little more raspy !

I thought that it had a 4-cylinder in it for a second because of the way it sounded. I personally didn’t like the sound of it at all. But if the guy likes it then that’s fine. It’s his truck and he didn’t build it to please me. I do like the paint job a lot though.
sounds awesome! however the mufflers are not fully responsible. the big key in the way this sounds is having the X pipe in the right position and also having the 2 halfs of the system equal lengths. nice job
Borla sounds way better in person. Seems like the mic is having a hard time picking up the full sound.

I think, with a cam as violent as that one, you need open headers or true dual straight pipes coming out in front of the rear tires. With a cam like that, you don't need backpressure in the exhaust

how do you have your own exhaust shop n not know what true duals means? jsyk its when the pipes don't connect at all. Nice sound though no doubt.
taylor waugh it has nothing to do with connecting. they connect to equal pressure and increase velocity. that why u generally see people swapping out their mid pipes out from the factory H pipe that comes on most out of factory dual exhausts to a higher flowing x pipe setup. just because the mid pipe connects doesn't mean its not true dual.
