No catilytic converters, no resonators, no nothing except pure exhaust “System” as I was a dealer tech doing my research for parts and products to complete my build. I threw one of the ATAK 3 inch onto my LS3 240sx build, car sounds really good and isn't over the top. Everyone at the track thanks me for not being obnoxious and refined. THANKS BORLA!

I wasn't looking for the truck or this engine, but within 8 months, both fell into my lap as my youngest family member gave up on one and wrecked the other. Never heard of Borla until watch an episode of "Kounts Customs" as tv show on the DEFY network. It is harder now to save money now in the fall of 2022 than every before in retirement, but that's life. They sound great and honestly I was surprised to hear the creative ways they recorded them. I don't gamble, play cards or have hunting dogs anymore, but at 6' 3" tall, it is easier for me than her Malibu to get in and out. Have a safe holiday season and a great 2023! Gotta admit, I'm a huge fan of Borla exhausts. My first 'car' got the Borla treatment. You wouldn't think much of the 4.7 V8 in the '05 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but boy did the ProXS make it sing!
Just put the Atac system on my 1965 impala convertible with a cammed Ls3 swap wish I would have went with the s types. I’m going to add resonators to try and tone it back. Just a heads up for anybody putting these on a convertible it sounds like the car is straight piped.

Hi! The CrateMuffler product line has been developed and designed for specific create engines. This one in particular is made for the Chevy LS3 engine. We do not recommend using CrateMufflers outside of what they were designed for.

Unfortunately, not. Our CrateMufflers are designed for specific crate engines, they are not universal. Depending on the year of your Camaro V6 we may have an exhaust system for it. We do also offer universal mufflers.

There's no particular reason in this case. Many of our older systems that were developed in the past simply weren't offered in multiple sound levels like we typically do now.

Replace that restricted chokemater with any borla like atak xr1 s-type or other a straight through muffler chokemaster specially if its the 30 40 44 & above series are to restricted they're not great flowing mufflers at all specially for performance applications

It will then ask you to select the pipe diameter that you need and which inlet/outlet configuration. Sorry, I misunderstood your question. These are CrateMufflers; they are tuned for certain crate engines. CrateMufflers are not universal. Unfortunately, we do not have universal mufflers in the Touring sound level. The most quiet universal mufflers that we offer would be the ProXS line.
What a highly frustrating "buying experience", starting with the dysfunctional Borla website, then trying to figure out a part number for an LS3 hot rod muffler. You simply do not articulate which is the louder or quieter muffler. A chart of dimensions and exhaust tubing size fitment would cut to the chase, but no, I have to spend hours watching "influencers" yammer about your product.

I had one on my Minneapolis Moline Tractor .. I guess I didn't use a U clamp because it fell off and I ran over it with a brush hog and destroyed it . A V-8 is a V-8 Turbo mufflers are quitter and sound better too ,..

I’m sorry Borla but your products Overpriced and overrated. For name brand best value it’s magnaflow all day long. Or for a budget option check out the xlerator stainless mufflers from AP exhaust. Excellent quality Magnaflow clones for a fraction of the price.
Definitely pay for quality on these the best 2 mufflers on the market are magna flow and borla but no the magna flow clones dont sound good at all they sound like complete ass😂😂
I have magna flow on my 2018 gmc and it sounds really nice but I just want more of that throatier sound and the atak will give that I guess it pay to play lol just depends on what you want
When you consider exhaust velocity and scavenging and most people shove too large a diameter exhaust on their car. Just another over hyped over priced muffler.

They need to make a ATAK 3 inch muffler that's center/center
I absolutely love the sound of these mufflers. Unfortunately, I will never own a pair of 300 dollar mufflers, no matter how good they sound.

I have C6 with headers & no cat h pipe to ATAKs and yeah, drone is none to little until it gets into boost.

I could daily drive that. If it had a mode where I drive through neighborhoods and mute it a bit it get it.
