I never imagined Gardner would be with the Yankees for this long. It's very rare nowadays for a player to spend 10-plus years with one team. If he plays elsewhere in the future, I wish him the best. But deep down I hope he retires a Yankee
him and cc I bet alot if not most of it is for their veteran status for the younger guys. he should have way more gold gloves it's criminal. and he's still got wheels like a 20 year old
GARDY will never wear another Uniform.... He will get a plaque at Stadiium....I have viewed Him as The DEREK JETER of the Outfield....Quiet,Keeps to Himself and HUSTLES Every play...
@@razd3851 Yeah I was only 14 at the time and I was already taller than him. I'm about 6'6" now and back then I was about 6'1". He was about 2-3 inches shorter than me.
Grady is that dude......I remember when he first got here he stole alot of bases and played alot of short ball...not mention he played with Jeter and he was sharing time with Cabrera in the outfield.....now 10 years later he hits alot more hrs and knows how to get the big hit...he clutch ... Playing with Yankees helped him grow ....
I remember when gardner first joined yankess when i was a kid. Dude was stealing bases like it was nothing, bunting and hustling to 1st. Dude was fast af
I started watching the Yankees in 2007, and I can't believe I have watched Gardy played for all these years. I could still remember his rookie year, and now he has developed some much.
Gardner’s pretty damn clutch. He’s had awesome moments, especially this year. That triple off Kimbrel was epic. In my opinion best moment of the first half, and there have been a lot of good moments.
Pretty clutch? His playoff BA is one of the worst in history. This guy is the most overrated Yankee ever, keeps wasting a roster spot because he sleeps with Boone and Cashman. My Grandma can throw a baseball better than him, and Bernie Williams was 3 times better than Old Yeller. His career highlight for me will be when he packs his bags and leaves for good. He has sucked the last couple of years, and was always average at best. Gardner, please go away.
Brett The Jet Gardener, whats not to love. He plays hard every day, still to this day, still swipes bags, still hits, and still runs fly balls down showing the young guys how its done.
Grossly overrated, he wastes a roster spot every year because he sleeps with Boone and Cashman. Gardner, please go away, you were average at best and now you have sucked for years. Go away.
It's easy to rag on Gardy when he isn't hitting, but then you find this and it reminds you of the sheer grit, class and work ethic he has brought to the Bronx for the last decade.
Brett Gardner always played full out. His defense was tremendous. No Yankee has held up Left field as well since he has left. I wasn't aware he had as many walk off hits/HR's as he did.
Watching this in 2023, makes me realize that Yankee stadium was built for a guy like Gardner over a guy like gallo. Gardeners contact and occasional power played so well and allowed him to hit 20hr quite a few times. One of my all time favorite players to watch
This was a nice video. Gardener delivered in some key moments. However, one more play should've gotten added to the list and that play is when he hit a inside the park HR.
Three moments I'd have to add to this vid: The game tying 2B against Verlander in game 3 of the 2011 ALDS (Yanks lost that game but at the time it was a pretty big hit), the infield single to start the game winning 5 run rally in game 1 of the 2010 ALCS, and lastly, the inside the park HR in 2009
Tho tbh, if there's any one play that sums up the type of player Gardy is, it's the one from the 2010 ALCS to start this rally ua-cam.com/video/V3PAjTHiIK0/v-deo.html
I was hoping that met homerun at the end would show here. I'm a met fan, but shit... its hard to believe he's been a yankee for so long now haha. Much respect for him
Gardy needs to eighter lead of unless gleybar does and didi bats second if gardy hits in the 7th hole behind G Torres he just needs to bunt or slap the ball to right field and move the runners or pinch run he still has a lot of value if used properly
so glad we resigned him hope he can retire in pinstripes. Always an underrated guy but always played hard. Lets hope we can get him another ring in 2020

Jwanie He's such an important part of their organization. I doubt they'll let him go.
@@shammywizard1903 You were right.

I love Gardy! I met him back in 2013 and he is one of my all-time favorite players!
I'm so jelly
Was he shorter than you thought he would be. Cause thats what i was thinking when i met him
@@razd3851 Yeah I was only 14 at the time and I was already taller than him. I'm about 6'6" now and back then I was about 6'1". He was about 2-3 inches shorter than me.
He’s also my favorite and believe it or not he actually threw me a ball after it was fouled but I still have to get it signed.
Love the way he plays the game, good player, and even better lead off hitter
Grady is that dude......I remember when he first got here he stole alot of bases and played alot of short ball...not mention he played with Jeter and he was sharing time with Cabrera in the outfield.....now 10 years later he hits alot more hrs and knows how to get the big hit...he clutch ... Gardy and Jeter were such a great 1-2 tandem at the top of the order.
A throwback to another era. Billy Martin would have loved him.He was a good outfielder, he hustled and stole bases while in his prime
I remember when gardner first joined yankess when i was a kid. Dude was stealing bases like it was nothing, bunting and hustling to 1st. Dude was fast af

Amazing and Excellent by Brett Gardner
I love the way he plays!!
For some reason I love ever hot head in baseball
My favorite player
The incredible Mr Cluth Brett Michael Gardner #11
My favorite player ⭐️
Heck yeah! Go Gardy!
I love gardener. He's been there for so long, and he still plays well and has a great attitude. Just a hardworking guy

a gardner triple hustling and bustling full steam ahead is more exciting to watch than a home run
Still walking off games in 2021. Yankees Legend
#GardnerFan4Life
Gardy is made of steel
By far my favourite Yankee player!
Back then when he had hair 😢 he’s our angry thumb I love this guy bruh I hope he stays with the yanks
Your wish is granted my friend he's staying.
I love going to Yankee games just because of gardner he always does something to give me a memory
He’s the most consistent Yankee and probably the most clutch too that’s why he’s my favorite
My exact words 💪
Brett The Jet Gardener, whats not to love. He plays hard every day, still to this day, still swipes bags, still hits, and still runs fly balls down showing the young guys how its done.
One of my favorite players of all time
GOAT BRETT THE JET
Most underrated Yankee of all time
Underrated.
Very underrated. Should've had more All-Star selections. Great fielder, plays hard every day. GRIT
probably the least likeliest to last 10 years with the Yankees but he has done a fantastic job!
my favorite player
Gardy Party!!! So glad he's gonna be with the team again next year.
That 3 run HR off the Cubs is my favorite.
Damn!! a true yankee there, I love this guy.
He may not break records, but god damn does this guy have grit and determination. He is a true Yankee, through and through.
Gardy for the next Captain!
Bintang Kurik he really deserves it.
Much respect to Gardner, but the next captain shouldn't be named for a few more years, and preferably one of the Baby Bombers.
Gardy Party
Brett Gardner always played full out. His defense was tremendous. No Yankee has held up Left field as well since he has left. I wasn't aware he had as many walk off hits/HR's as he did.
The Gardy Party continues, as Brett signs a one-year deal for 2021. The man is a stalwart of the team.
Watching this in 2023, makes me realize that Yankee stadium was built for a guy like Gardner over a guy like gallo. Gardeners contact and occasional power played so well and allowed him to hit 20hr quite a few times. One of my all time favorite players to watch
You can never compare any other yankee to Derek Jeter but i feel like Brett Gardner has taken that spot in their clubhouse
Babe Ruth? Joe DiMaggio?
oh yes Mickey mantle. Lou Gehrig. So many others
Mackie B pretty sure you're correct
Mackie B yes i am i feel he should be the captain
Gardy I think is a bit underrated - that is not the case for Jeter
The incredible Brett Michael Gardner ✨✨✨🙌
one of my all time fav yankee
LETS GOOO 2021 HERE WE COME
Gardy goes yardy!
I think 2021 will be it for Gardner.
He’s a clutch player
Let go gardy!!!huge fannnnnn!
My favorite current Yankee!
I was at the game 0:29 in a tunnel behind home play when he hit that. It was crazy.
Love Gardner my favorite player
The few and the chosen...🌟⚾️🌟
This was a nice video. Gardener delivered in some key moments. However, one more play should've gotten added to the list and that play is when he hit a inside the park HR.
Just had another big hit that scored the go ahead and ended up winning run in the 10th inning of a 7/8/18 game against Toronto.

I'd add the catch against Toronto to end the game either 2016 or 2017 and his 12+ pitch at bat vs Cleveland in the 2017 ALDS
Who’s here after he just re-signed with the Yankees?
I love Gardy!!!
Gardy goes Yardy!!!
He also hit a game trying hr against the astros this year too
Gotta love the way gardy plays the game Yankee fan or not
I LOVE GARDY!!!
So many walk-offs.
There ain't no party like a Gardy party, because a Gardy party is CLUTCH!
The High Socks 😍❤😍❤😍❤😍❤😍❤😍❤
Darvish probably has nightmares about this man lol
explains why he went to the NL
“Brett Gardner plants one” is my favorite
Was looking for the inside the park home run and triple game lol
Why am I sad that he was almost bald as a rookie?
He had an underrated arm. So many outfield assist!
i didn't realize how clutch he's been for so long
Gardner's 2016 catch against the Blue Jays to seal the win is conspicuously absent
In the park HR against Minnesota
Howd you not include the Inside the park homer?
Brett Gardner looks like megamind
Yes sir
Beast
That thumbnail
I was hoping that met homerun at the end would show here. I'm a met fan, but shit... its hard to believe he's been a yankee for so long now haha. Much respect for him
I almost caught the homer at 5:10
Ur the guy with the white shirt?
Gardy needs to eighter lead of unless gleybar does and didi bats second if gardy hits in the 7th hole behind G Torres he just needs to bunt or slap the ball to right field and move the runners or pinch run he still has a lot of value if used properly
GARDY Party 🥳
Garner, broken the most bats since 2013
Go Yankees! "Gardy goes yardy"!
Top moments from the one that went yardy.
Lol that thumbnail got Gardner looking weird
Better than Ellsbury by far
Is he retiring?
I was there for his first walk off!
Nice!
Straight DAWG
Clutch!!
Gardy is the man
good!
epic.
He looks exactly the same now from when he got his first big league hit
His inside the park homeruns?
Anyone remember Shelly Duncan? I really thought he would be something :(
Bret “The Jet” Gardner
so glad we resigned him hope he can retire in pinstripes. Always an underrated guy but always played hard. Lets hope we can get him another ring in 2020
Quietest yankee ever
Legend
It’s so cool watching the Yankees team gradually change in this video while gardener stays a yankee.
Where’s that inside the parker
Bring Brett Back!
