You are gifted not only for your creative genius, your visionary acumen, but you also carry the name of my enslaved great, great, great, great grandmother who was the niece of Abraham Lincoln as daughter of Giles Cotton, (said to look like a white man), Abraham Lincoln's half brother. Giles Cotton was enslaved on the Stroud Plantation. The same Plantation as the Giddings The Giddings and the Cotton family combine with the Lincoln family. Giles Cotton and Abraham Lincoln had the same mother... Nancy Hanks...She married Porch Cotton and gave birth to Giles. When Porch passed, she married Thomas Lincoln....and the rest is history sorta. They never tell you that Lincoln was a dark skinned man, and as was Thomas Lincoln... I'm currently writing a book on the subject. ❤ Gloria Jean Giddings...
