Thank you for sharing. My old stomping ground when I was a child living on Yokota Air Base. It looks totally different than it did in 68-73. The best place to live and grow up as a child. If I had to do all over, I would have stayed.
@@seriously5936 How ironic. I went back for a visit about the time you were there. I visited West Area where I lived near the playground. The old youth baseball field was replaced by tennis courts. My dad was very involved for the youth. I helped my dad build the scoreboard for the baseball field. When I saw the baseball field was gone I felt sad because I had so many nice memories of playing baseball there and helping dad build the scoreboard. I returned thinking everything would be the same as I remembered it. Sadly, it was changing a lot. I realized that Yokota would never be the same because all the people I used to know were no longer there. I sat down on the curb and had a good cry. When I finished crying I got up and left and have never been back. Yokota will always be in my heart forever, but the Yokota I know and remember will never come back. It was a wakeup call for me. I only have memories to cherish of what Yokota used to be. It will still be the place of my wonderful childhood.
Thanks for sharing. I lived in Yokota AB 2011-2014 in my early 20s (my husband was the internal medicine doctor on base). Best time of my life in Japan. I will treasure it forever. I love ❤you Japan!
Thank you for sharing this video, I used to live at Yokota air base 1977 many years passed I tried to collect my memories about the fussa area. I found you Iam so excited to watch it and I see lots of thing changed
I used to live on Yokota AFB years ago. I loved Japan & hope to revisit there one day. People are very friendly & very clean...no trash ever seen on streets or sidewalks. Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed viewing memories.
me and my husband 👫lived there last year in Fussa near Aka-sen when he was working as a part time DJ in one of those bars in Aka-sen. 8 months later we moved again here in Yokohama 💁🏻♀️👫🇵🇭
Terimakasih sudah berbagi. Pernah mengikuti training di perusahaan konstruksi dan tinggal di Higashi Fusa antara 95-97 ( 43:02 ) di belakang truk biru yang terparkir, disitu saya tinggal.
I was stationed there in 66 to 68, then came back several times in 70 to 75. I don’t recognize anything! But thanks for the tour. Where’s all the people? Looking for a tour of Fussa.
I see you just shot this video as at 51:53 bar corner was just torn down last month and is now a parking lot. Sad to say you MISS ed a whole bunch around bar row. I will try to make a video of Bar row and explain along the way, based on my living experience there from 1970-1977. What stabilizer are you using? on a go Pro? I currently live near by in Hachioji. A LOT of history in FUSSA! Nice Walk! thanks for posting.
No Fighter Planes ✈️ must be on a different time schedule. Not a busy day or people leaving school? 😌 the spray oaring in 🇧🇱 to need to take the 3rd year jr high end tire year high school 🏫 kids on a nice day to clean up the not art 🖼 work for extra credit. I would use a regular camera 📸 or a streaming camera 📸 not iPhone because of heat connection and battery 🔋. Guess it depending on the person or UA-camrs in 🇧🇱. Not sure if you can get ahold of Dave Trippin in 🇧🇱 or Only in 🇧🇱 to see about 📸 to use. Going to wait till the 14 iPhone comes out basic to trade in my XR. 📸👍🇧🇱

Only been there once while leaving Japan. Maybe some time later, you can film around two other US military bases south of here.
Hi! Super quality! What is this camera?
For this video, I used iPhone 13 Pro Max but I'm using iPhone 14 Pro Max for more recent videos.

Ugly graffiti has even made its way to Japan. A damn shame.
