Before this game, Kershaw had been 7-1 with a Save in his last 13 postseason games. He also destroyed the Brewers in Game 5 and then closed Game 7 of this series to get to the World Series. Sure, he's had some choke job moments in the postseason, but he's also had some big time games, too. Active Cy Young winners who have been similar or worse as Kershaw in the postseason: Max Scherzer, David Price, Corey Kluber, Rick Porcello, Zack Greinke, CC Sabathia...... Justin Verlander and Jake Arrieta are really the only active Cy Young winners who have had postseason success. And for non-Cy Young winners, you obviously have Madison Bumgarner, Cole Hamels, and Jon Lester who have been awesome in the postseason.

Cubs fan here, it was easy for me to get behind the Brewers for these playoffs. This team was fun, shame they couldn’t get to the World Series.

Who is that Third Base Line camera guy that was a sustained continuous shot from touching third to bumping up his boys in the dugout. That was the Rope (1948) of homerun recording.

2-8. I believe he was injured for a good bit of the season with an oblique injury and came out of the pen for some innings
