Only 2 games where i ever had this overwhelming feeling of “damn this journey is really over” and dropped a tear, were RDR2 and Ghost of Tsushima. 2 of the best games in recent history (my opinion)
Moments in games that shaped me: -Shepherds Betrayal in MW2 -the ENTIRE walking dead saga -Days Gone multiple moments -Menendez' sister getting killed -Soaps deatg -Ghost of tsushima Ending -Life is strange sacrificing Chloe -Pokémon Black/White -Detroit Become Human in general
@@cripticcrystal3810 Days gone’s story is overlooked by the fact it didn’t reach expectations to a game like the last of us. Days gone story is amazing, in my opinion of course.
I'm heading back to my work station and I had to stop the video for a second because I've been able to enjoy these epic journeys. Always with a form of lesson. From honor, what it means to really sacrifice, that nothing lasts for ever and that when your young you feel invincible but the people you love seem even more fragile to you. Games are more then just games, they were part of my life.
You forgot Cayde. Kidding man, it's fine. His death got me most, it showed me that nothing lasts, even immortals like him. It still hurts, even if he was never real.
It's an interactive Film of your own, it's a book with visuals, and overall just because it falls in the category of games and playing it still is like a book or film when you use your imagination to the strongest.
There's a ton of sad games I've played, walking dead, red dead redemption 1 and 2, destiny 2 (Cayde's death) which still makes me sad whenever I think about the audio log left for us at the end of the ace of spades quest. God of war ps4 has its sad/deep moments, you got a lot of them in this video, some of the saddest moments in games I've played on top of that though are each of the assassins you kill in assassins creed rogue, each one makes Shay hurt more mentally and emotionally, and you can tell that with each kill, it really does weigh on him. He even has a sort of revelation toward the end of the game admitting that he made the choice, and still doesn't know if it were the right one.
Its not just a game. Its a life. Its a career. whether as a content creator or a professional athlete. Its an escape from the sheer brutalities of our lives. Its a place we come to have fun. To cry. To learn. About either others. Ourselves. And most importantly, Life. Sincerely. A gamer that wasted 8 years of his life in the world of video games.

RD2 was the only game/movie that made me actually cry, multiple times. Ghost of Tsushima i started and finished a week ago, my poor Nora(horse).
@@StellarisNova1 the song at the end of Ghost of Tsushima creates such a strong emotional moment. Exactly the same goes for RDR2. Beautiful games.
When my horses, Wild Spirit and Kage died, I SOBBED

They're not games. They're memories
RIP Joel ,Lee,Arthur,Soap...You Will be in my hearts forever ❤️
It will never be just a game...
All jokes aside, the music makes these scenes really epic
for the Batman games, should've included Poison Ivy death, I dk why nobody gave a credit about her, her sacrifice was actually touching my feel

“John made it. The rest of us…
…no.”
It's just a Film, a Book, a symphony. Funny how at times gaming is being shit on when it comes to this. Gaming is all that and even better.

Me too pal.
One day I'd like to see Max Payne in these videos. Instead of the game characters who do not suffer half of Max Payne's pain.
well in uncharted 3 sully didn't die
Again, read the chapters.
