In the LN, it's implied that Komekko is a once-in-a-millenia prodigy, even by Crimson Demon standards. She can summon high level demons, which adult Crimson Demons have trouble with. She undid a seal on an evil god without much effort. And since she killed Sylvia, her level is much higher than a child's would be at her age. Note that Megumin is already a genius by Crimson Demon standards, having the highest magic potential and intelligence stat of a village full of people with high magic and intelligence.
In other words, when Komekko gets older, she'd probably be the strongest character in all of Konosuba.

There is just one slight hitch....Komekko's appetite can not be sated.
Heck, she has even tried to eat Chomusuke a few times (Megumin's cat/familiar/half a of demon god).
Hiring Komekko for anything would easily bankrupt you just trying to feed her.

@@rhajamelwalker1410 Megumin's father is a superb craftsman that makes high quality magical items, but adds a "special feature" to each of them. And because all Crimson Demons are chuunibyou, the special feature is often so over the top it renders the item completely useless. The only person who buys his items is Wiz, who has a gift for stocking useless merchandise. Wiz only has money because Vanir is business saavy, which means Vanir is indirectly keeping Megumin's family alive.
Megumin actually sends the money Kazuma gives her back home to her family, but not too much because she knows her dad will blow it.

I went to theaters and saw this with a packed crowd. When she pressed the trigger, the entire theater just exploded with laughter. Absolutely awesome seeing this with other people.
Seeing Konosuba in a Cinema was one of the best cinema experiences I ever had. A packed crowd all with fans of the series.

Actually if you think about it, when you’re young and naive, you easily fall for magic tricks even though magic doesn’t exist in our world. In their world, magic does exist and is probably much more common than magnets. Lmao
Aqua has some strange skills that are never truly explained. She once received an expensive ring from Mitsurugi with which she hide under a napkin and made it disappear. When she was asked were it went she said she didn’t know and there’s no way she can bring it back. It’s unclear if this has anything to do with her being a goddess.
Her father is Jotaro and her mother is Tifa Lockheart. Megumin suddenly makes so much sense.

Whenever I watch konosuba, hear the voices and the music, look at the scenery, enjoy the cast’s useless banter with one another, I feel weirdly nostalgic. Like I’m remembering a good time from my childhood that never really happened. Like I’m revisiting an old memory faded out from my mind. It’s a strange sense of calm, elation and excitement that keep me coming back to this anime that is weirdly unique and special to this anime alone. It reminds me of better times that I’ve never actually experienced myself and I’m deeply thankful for that.
I love the fact that after she steals the kill and then poses while doing chuiybu lines the party all has that "she is so cute" look on their faces so that even Kazuma who was denied the exp once again doesn't mind.
In fact I love how they all think she is just the cutest thing- like all making that same face when she is eating, and generally playing with and fawning over her. Its like those D&D stories where the PC's adopt a kid or something
she actually appeared earlier on in season 2, during the crystal ball scene

I can't remember if it was mentioned in the LN or manga but apparently when Komekko pulled trigger and destroyed Sylvia. Komekko also inadvertently gained all the XP and ultimately became the most powerful Crimson Demon.
Think it's LN everytime I try looking for the manga it's always at the part of the end of s2 so either it hasn't been updated or theres no English sub out there that I can find also I think she just became strong for her age
