Does this guy know what he wants? There is no job security in Canada, so take that off the board, better wages, check... stop sells in stores, that`s off the board, they are not going to build more LCBO stores, cost way to much, and most people want part time help, no one is giving out full time. Time to privatize LCBO, maybe... just maybe the cost will come down, here in Ontario, we are paying double the price,

    • @Ratboy2004

It's the same prices in Nova Scotia. It's either keep the profits or let the private sector have them.

It's not the Union's job (OPSEU) to tell the management i.e. LCBO owners, how they are to run their business.
Sadly, these union members are an analog watch in a digital world. They are trying to roll back the clock to a point in time when only the LCBO had the monopoly on alcohol distribution and sales, and their members would have 100% job security.
If the province decides that they can collect the same amount of revenues without actually running the retail operations directly i.e. privatization, these employees should start retraining for a different line of work. The current wages, benefits and pay they are getting would never be paid by any private sector business for such a low and unskilled job.
