They can privatize it but I think to be fair by employees, the government should increase the minimum wage since nobody can live with the current rate of $16.55.
It's not the Union's job (OPSEU) to tell the management i.e. LCBO owners, how they are to run their business. Sadly, these union members are an analog watch in a digital world. They are trying to roll back the clock to a point in time when only the LCBO had the monopoly on alcohol distribution and sales, and their members would have 100% job security. If the province decides that they can collect the same amount of revenues without actually running the retail operations directly i.e. privatization, these employees should start retraining for a different line of work. The current wages, benefits and pay they are getting would never be paid by any private sector business for such a low and unskilled job. 🤔🤔🤔

The line is 25 people deep but there are two employees in the back talking about what they are doing after work. Fire them all! You could replace everyone of these people in days with folks who actually want to work
