Yet another pleasing reaction James, and its heartwarming for me that a young man such as yourself is discovering Elvis, a great part of my life for the past 60 years, we have seen the latest ELVIS film and its introducing him to a younger worldwide audience, take all the hype out of his alleged drug addictions all his medication was prescribed for numerous medical conditions, but what of the entertainer, arguably the greatest most influential solo male recording artist of all time , who global sales figures are nearing 2 billion, every time Elvis ventured on stage he was a nervous wreck from 54 -77 but within minutes he settle down and gave all with his vocals, his stage performance and his love for his fans...yes he did say in 1977 would anyone still remember me when I have gone, Elvis has never left the building for millions still.

I actually feel sorry James for people that don’t get Elvis!
If you have a soul and are an emotional person he touches you every time with his awesomeness.
Thanks for all your Elvis reactions.😊

You really absorb every word he sings and it’s wonderful! Us fans have always known how indescribably awesome he is and I can only hope the new movie unleashes this to generations who haven’t been awakened to him yet!
Please please please ‘love me tender’ (1970 version). Get your mum to sit with you. He jumps into the crowd!!
Keep up the good work ❤️

So glad you felt this song , the way Elvis sings is so full of emotion and power that is why maybe you felt spiritual listening to it. There are clips of Elvis playing just a small part of this song at the piano . I love the the man the song and your reaction to him singing it . Thank you .

Some of my many Elvis favorites are 'Indescribably Blue', 'Rags To Riches' and 'Padre', I think you would also enjoy those.

He had no training in any of his talents. He was just born to sing, move to yeh music and several of his movies show he was a natural born actor. Such a phenom

Really like your reactions! - I must recommend using headphones. Listening to Elvis with headphones is a much greater experience (in my opinion)

I wish the entire world could hear what Elvis did at his Hawaii rehearsal concert - i've never seen anyone mention this but it should absolutely be heard -- it is for Blue Suede Shoes that he did this once only, never did it again -- go to ua-cam.com/video/E2bZp0MMLNU/v-deo.html & start at 8:46 & stay w-it until 9:07 ; it proves once again the amazing things he was able to do w-his voice. I don't believe anyone else could ever do this the way he did. Thank you.

One of my favourites!! The writer, Joe Lomax (I think), his version just does nothing to me emotionally. Totally agree with his voice. In That's The Way It is, there is footage of him singing this on camera in rehearsals accompanying himself on the piano. That's how I fell in love with this song. As you like the songs with a great chorus/climax , you might like another of my favourites - it's called We Can Make the Morning and it's from Elvis Country, 1971 I believe x

If you really want to appreciate Elvis’ superior treatment of this song, here is a link to the original release (also in 1970) by the song’s writer Jackie Lomax. In my opinion Jackie really missed building the drama of the song he himself wrote. ua-cam.com/video/Q-LZswPvUz0/v-deo.html

Are you only accepting requests via video? If it isn't possible for a person to do that does it mean they can no longer make requests? Is there a reason for this? I guess that counts me out. I have a # of songs never requested that people would really love; well i guess i'm out.
