yeah it was an all in from rash you could tell very early on by his base placement, and the excess of vehicles early on. basicly aod did the right thing and sat on base defences until he had the army to hit back
Hey mate, can confirm that if he didn't sell his MCV he would've been in a way worse spot :D The strat he was using was a dual strip all in, so he needed to sell the MCV to gain a money boost for fast production early on. The idea was to overwhelm me as quickly as possible, which is why he insta deployed the MCV instead of moving it to a better position. To be fair it worked well considering he took out my airstrip and force me into a corner. The downside of this strat is you're on a timer to kill your enemy because your resources will dry up quickly. Keeping the MCV is this position would mean he cannot afford to mass produce units early on, and would be completely broke as you cannot afford anything with a single ref on dual strips (which is why you sell the MCV) Also, insta deploying means he only has access to one tib field, and expanding to a new field is not really an option on this spawn because the distance is to far. If you insta deploy in this position you're best option is to all in with either dual strips like this video, or to tech to flame tanks as quickly as possible. Both strats will require selling the CY because you'll be broke af xD
@@AOD_Gaming can confirm that the mcv sell was best rash could do as he committed to an early rush , his base was setup in a bad area just to get an earlier rush.
@@AOD_Gaming fair enough if you don´t mind just a short fyi pros be it TD or RA: - balanced factions, more possible viable builds though there may a few controversial choices on RA where some of the factions have units you may not agree with - lots of QoL functions that make the game much more controllable and no kidding make it almost play like a modern RTS cons: - well still old graphics (personally i don´t bother bout graphics) yet some folks seem to have figured to import the remastered graphics into openRA - probably the real kicker: lack of ranked play/matchmaker the remasters have
Hey mate! Yeah I do use GDI quite often, and I find them more fun to play, but certain maps can be tough for GDI player. I play random faction, so I play both factions all the time 👍
I was 100% certain that you are going to lose that! wow! 😮

Nice hold there man!
Very similar to my game versus UncleDJ on this same map, I also died to turrets with my rush. :P
yeah if you rush you need that mcv kill or your on a timer to just lose to the base defences.
That IMO is where a MCV sell backfires. cause if he had that still you would have been completely toast
