MUST-TRY MAYAK EGGS - Korean Soft Boiled Eggs | How to Cook at Home

My favourite ooey, gooey, jammy egg recipe! The perfect protein to add onto to rice, noodle soups or even avocado toast. Did you know? Mayak gyeran literally translates to 'drug eggs' due to its addictive flavour and umami goodness. Let's just say, these eggs should come with a warning - you won’t be able to get enough of these bad boys!
Ingredients (makes 6 ):
☐ 6 room-temperature eggs
☐ ½ cup soy sauce
☐ ½ cup honey
☐ ½ cup water
☐ 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
☐ 1 tsp salt
☐ 1 birds eye chilli (chopped)
☐ 4 garlic cloves (minced)
☐ 1 small brown onion (diced)
☐ Spring onion (sliced)
☐ Sesame oil (to serve)
