Absolutely... I wasn't a big fan of gimbap , because when I went to a Korean restaurant I got served original kimbap , which was basically so bad for me , it got no salt or seasoning. I'm Arab so yeah I love seasonings and at least some salt . Myl first time trying gimbap I hated it but when I tried it this way , and added some salt and pepper to the rice it tasted extremely good .

I just made this today and omg it was really yummy! I made it with kimchi and for another instead of kimchi I put thai sweet chilli and both were amazing! A piece of advice though, when you're wrapping the sandwich, make sure it's really tight wrapped or you will create a mess lol.
I made this today! But the cheese kept sticking to my teeth. Did you have this problem? I think tomorrow I will try swapping the cheese placement with spam. I used teriyaki sauce instead of kimchi! Thai chili sauce is amazing idea too!
I tried this and the roasted seaweed became sticky and limp? Do I have to wait for the gg and spam and rice to be room temperature before I assemble them? 😳
