This is really helpful. I have this habit when an unwanted triggering thought invades where I reflexively say "No" while feeling a knot in me and then my mind tries to neutralize or disprove the thought. I want to know how unhooking from it feels.
I‘m glad this was helpful 🙂👍🏻🙏🏻. Yes, what you describe is the most common way of responding to upsetting thoughts. When we fight with thoughts, however, (= neutralizing etc) we can end up even more stuck in a thought… that‘s why learning to unhook is so helpful. At the moment I‘m preparing more videos about this which I‘ll upload in October - so stay tuned 🙂
