    In this video, Richard talks about what inspires him, where he finds the weirdest and most wonderful sounds, and the transformative power of the NT-SF1 - all backed by beautifully immersive ambisonic soundscapes.

    Could you please elaborate on how you recorded that piano and how you set up the translation to stereo? The space representation is amazing.

    Solenoid based vertical lfo for that mic is a must … I would totally build one if I could find one… the mic that is not a mechanical riser like a sonic magnifying glass.. this mic will change sound design… especially HOA and atmos if that’s you’re thing I like high order ambisonics… ambi a and b with weird ambisonic IRs that’s the future in my opinion..

      Hey there. While we don't currently offer a solenoid riser (what a cool concept, though!) the NT-SF1 stands as a testament to our community's commitment to innovation in sound. Good luck with all your recordings!

    yeah it’s interesting and all, but what does it all matter when sharing with others who listen to everything audio related thru their iphones or at best a pair of speakers. it all gets converted to mono or stereo and the effect becomes obsolete.

    Video is totally useless because of the piano recorded over it. Obviously I want to hear the microphone -- that's the point of the video, right ?

    • @snoolee7950
      @snoolee7950 Рік тому

      seems the point of the video is to keep you from hearing the sound of the microphone

      I know! It's ridiculous, couldn't focus on half of what Richard was saying. Absolute disaster putting the piano over the whole thing :-( I though I had another video playing in the browser, couldn't believe it...
