Frohe Neue Jahr Jael🍀The first thing I noticed was your new hairstyle, those braids looks beautiful, Here in Germany school kids don’t wear uniforms, they don’t also pay any school fees, school books are mostly free but exercise books and pens and pencil’s parents have to buy, what I really like about schools here is all children must go to school, even for the family’s with less income, the government assistance is always there to help, and they have a system that allows them to know how many kids are supposed to attend school every year, you can’t just decide to keep your child at home, they will just knock on your door and want to know what’s going on.
Wow! That's a good strategy to keep children in school. You should see how stressed parents are, here because of the hefty fees and other school requirements.
Your videos are always so serene. I have a suggestion for spreading the maize when drying. Use a rake to spread, makes it easier and is good for your back too 😊
Watching you from Zambia. Yes, in our country, school children do wear uniforms. It's mandatory for every pupil to wear a uniform, be it in private or public schools.
Good luck to Lexi with her studies. We also open schools this week in South Africa. Both public and private schools wear uniforms and each school has their own individual uniform and crest/logo. We get our text books and exercise books for free at government schools but private schools you pretty much buy everything yourself. Majority of people in SA attend public school, only minority are in private schools and private schools are also not all same but we all pretty much have same school holidays…first term starts mid Jan for all schools and we have short Easter break, mid year break and long Christmas break from mid Dec. Our primary and secondary education at government schools is free; this is constitutional. However schools are allowed and they do make well off and middle class working parents pay for their children’s education; only the most indigent(on government social grants which are monthly social payments for unemployed families) is fully free
Your hair looks beautiful. Me too, I don't like sitting for too long to do the long braids. Although I like them alot. The Nyònyòn looks yummy. I'm definitely going to try it. One of my goals this year is to learn new things about other Africa countries. Especially, their recipes and cultural heritage.
You can add a handful of drumstick leaves to the butter, it will make the ghee aromatic and tasty. That's how my mother did. Once the butter turns into ghee, the drumstick leaves will stay at the bottom. You can mix that with rice or have it with bread/ chapati.
@@jaelofthevillage tell me about it. Hello Jael. Lovely to see you back. Your nyoyo so wonderful ❤. Yes kids go to school in uniform here. It was lovely driving in empty roads, now suddenly mothers taking kids to school. My journeys are better time 😂.
In the US there is no uniforms in the public schools and for private schools, it varies from one school to the next. In Jamaica all schools have uniforms.
Happy to see you again jael your videos editing are always on top you look beautiful with your near hair your hair stylist gas done a good job am watching you from Germany school children don't wear school uniform here maybe it works for them that way once again happy new year enjoyed watching as always .
There are no school fees in the USA (public system) unless students are involved in certain sports or specialized classes for simple supplies . Private schools require tuition. I am a high school coordinator.
I attended elementary school in Jamaica and we wore uniforms, high school and junior college in England we wore uniforms. In the universities back then they wanted all students to dress neatly. Living and raising kids here in the USA my kids wore uniforms to the Catholic school. Most private schools require uniforms. Government schools no uniforms required. Your hair is very beautiful.
Happy New Year, Jael. Happy to see dear. I missed you and your vlogs. You look pretty in your hair style, I have never seen you in braids. Busy as usual, hardworking and you're such an inspiration to all. May 2024 be a fruitful and a year full of blessings ❤
This is a beautiful escape indeed. I am watching from South Africa and our school year are the same. We also shop for books and uniform in December/January. Your country is beautiful. Which state in Kenya is this; lush and green?

Hey watching from Jamaica 🇯🇲...our school year begins in September...we have private schools at all levels which are rather expensive but there's public schools also which subsidized. The students wear uniforms to school & the hair should be properly groomed with no extensions for the public schools.

Thank you. While young, they need a lot of care and maintenance. Weeds kill them. So you need to keep weeding until they mature, then you can leave them alone
Happy new year, Jael✨! I was also eating a lot of Githeri in the 1st week of January (until my kids complained😅). Thanks for removing the kitovu of the tomato carefully. I spoke too soon,I can clearly see the hairstyle when removing the Christmas decorations, you look nice
😊 thank you
There are no school fees in the USA (public system) unless students are involved in certain sports or specialized classes for simple supplies . Private schools require tuition. I am a high school coordinator.
Awesome. Thanks for the information
Morning my dia watching from South Sudan juba 🙏❤
How are you? Happy New Years🥰✌🏽💐
Happy new year. I'm doing great
I attended elementary school in Jamaica and we wore uniforms, high school and junior college in England we wore uniforms. In the universities back then they wanted all students to dress neatly. Living and raising kids here in the USA my kids wore uniforms to the Catholic school. Most private schools require uniforms. Government schools no uniforms required. Your hair is very beautiful.
..and I understand the private schools are quite expensive just like here.
Beautiful indeed.
Thank you
@@jaelofthevillage My pleasure.
Happy New Year, Jael. Happy to see dear. I missed you and your vlogs. You look pretty in your hair style, I have never seen you in braids. Busy as usual, hardworking and you're such an inspiration to all. May 2024 be a fruitful and a year full of blessings ❤

Hi..its good to have you back and yes education in kenya has become very expensive.

So true. You wonder how the very poor people are going to afford education.
Always inspiring me Jael

Good Video... I'm Samwel_Mwaka from Tanzania 🇹🇿
Hey brother. Nice to see 🇹🇿 represented. ❤️
Hey watching from Jamaica 🇯🇲...our school year begins in September...we have private schools at all levels which are rather expensive but there's public schools also which subsidized. The students wear uniforms to school & the hair should be properly groomed with no extensions for the public schools.
Thank you. Happy week
You are living my dream.I learn alot from you, hope to settle in about 3years, I want to be at the country side.God bless you
Thanks, darling. I wish you the very best
Happy new year dear joel. Absolutly loove nyoyo (githeri) and i miss it soo much. Home cooked githeri slaps. Nimekula tu na macho 😅. I enjoyed this vlog always ❤
Thank you. Yes,food taste better at home
Hi Jael in Uganda our kids also wear uniforms for school although ours start in the beginning of February
Oh. So that means,Christmas holidays are stretched to Feb?
In the U.S., Ohio specifically, public schools generally do not have uniforms except in big cities. In Cleveland Ohio kids wear khaki pants and a polo shirt. Private schools wear uniforms. Private school uniforms are expensive.
Good to know. Thank you
Looking good dea iam looking forward to seeing you one day
🥰🥰
I really like the kei apple/kayaba fence..... been trying to grow one and we just never succeeded
Thank you. While young, they need a lot of care and maintenance. Weeds kill them. So you need to keep weeding until they mature, then you can leave them alone
@@jaelofthevillage thanks for this tip
Happy new year, Jael✨! I was also eating a lot of Githeri in the 1st week of January (until my kids complained😅). Thanks for removing the kitovu of the tomato carefully. In her githeri/nyoyo video, Auntie Christine (@Sixty+life) cut off almost half the tomato, I was about to send a petition to the United Nations!!!!
😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Your chickens are well behaved. Mine will descend on all that maize
😅😅 they've had enough of it
The nyoyo looks yummy 😋
