Upgrading seats in these cars makes a huge difference in driver confidence and driving feel. The stock sedan seats are awful and do not keep you in place at all during aggressive cornering. I run reclinable Sparcos in both of my CD5s.
Thanks for the comment. I can’t wait to feel the difference. Maybe someday I’ll upgrade to something nicer like Sparcos. I am so used to bracing myself against the door with my leg. Going to be pretty cool to feel held in place.
@@ThatAccordGuy You will definitely notice a difference with the side bolstering. Sparco makes some nice stuff. I bought my first seat from them almost 10 years ago now and it still looks brand new even after a lot of use.
Bought for my 350z hr just today.....Ikon Motorsport seats w/sliders.....brackets.....rails and extra hardware..... point harnesses.....Braum Harness Bar.....and 350z shoulder pads for the 3 point oem belts. If I would have went with Concept Z Performance or Z1 the price would have been way more but oaid only $850 I think for everything.
Just installed all of it in my Z except the harness bar and harnesses by myself. The seats sit me a little lower and feels weird but I am snug and will get used to it.
Quick question, for a 1999 honda accord if I want to install bucket seats can the stock seat bracket/ mounts work? or will I need to buy 'em separately like you did?
Never worked on a 99 but I’d imagine they’re probably the same as this car. Much easier to buy the brackets. You’ll have to check the mounting height and see if it’s level on the floor for each of the 4 seat corners. Good luck
Ive been thinking about doing this in my 2021 accord but ive never done a seat swap before. Mine are not powered. They are so uncomfortable. Its causing back trouble. Anyone have suggestions?
I’d say these are probably less comfortable than a stock seat. Either look at more expensive seats with inflatable adjustable lumbar. I know Corbeau makes some. In a 21 they can be that bad really?
I bought the same kind of seat off of eBay, less than a year of the ownership the welds at the bottom of the seat broke causing the seat not to stay up, very unsafe, i contacted the seller but no help was offered ATM
@@ThatAccordGuy My car us currently at the shop to get a custom manifold to relocate the turbo and reinstall a/c. I asked them to turn up the boost to 10 psi

I’ll look into some options. Who knows these seats could always end up in something else. Thanks for looking out. 👍🏼

I installed some NRG seats using the stock accord seat brackets.. much easier than this but I love the vid nonetheless!
I would’ve sold u my seats off my accord! Reclinable and in black 👍🏼
Oh and they’re Sparco!
Dang dude where were you 😢 haha maybe next time

How you have the seat at 8:30 I just bolted my seat in the holes line up by the grace of the car gods and you still have your slider
That’s awesome! I gotta do something similar to my corrado
So far I love them. Hopefully I can test drive soon!
Need these in black!
They’ve got quite a few color options

Dang thanks for the heads up
do you know if those same brackets fit the coupe version of these cars?
Can’t say for sure. If you contact the company I’m sure they could tell you. I want to say yea they should fit.
Nvm lol I saw the description
You had me going for a second there 😂
I was like I thought I did 😳
