Great video! Check the wheelie bar to make sure both wheels are same distance to the ground. My drag slash was drifting and after making serval adjustments I found the wheelie bar was "tweaked" to one side. Once I fixed that it launches straight every time.

New to the whole drag scene, looking to get a Drag Slash, have owned a few normal slashes and like the bang for the buck. Prices out building one and not even close. Question for you why use those batteries over a Traxxas one?
I ordered mine back in January, got told on Friday it’s still atleast another month away. The supply chain is absolutely rubbish here in Australia.. doesn’t help that no prep is all the rage at the moment too
You can actually shut off the gyro by removing the rubber plug on the receiver box and pushing the button once. That puts it in drag mode and the receiver will blink red. You will have to show your race master that and they should not have an issue with it, nor should you have to replace your receiver. (as long as this is box stock class).
I like the body but other than that it's just a LCG slash with street tires lol. I ordered one just to have it but I'll prob honestly never race it. Lol... Now I may pull and use the esc and transmitter and receiver ect and put it into my project Granite lol

Yes I like the OVONIC packs very much. They seem to provide a good balance of value and longevity. If you're shooting for ultimate power and competition a higher C and cell voltage would be key

I know turbo cars on the two-step can sound very similar but your intro sound, sounded exactly like Cleetus McFarland's "Ruby" Which is a red C5 Corvette with a big single turbo. Did you happen to get that sound by any chance? I have custom firmware for my radio link RC6GS V2 radio that allows me to have a transbrake/2-step whatever you want to call it. Using the thumb button I can do exactly like the Traxxas remote does.
Wish the wheels where aluminum they would have been so nice being metal instead of plastic.. they look good regardless but still for that price they should have gave us metal wheels and a completely new designed truck... The slash 2wd isn't that great to begin with.. most 2wd honestly isn't that good anyway unless your always on road which obviously this will be a on road truck. but I would have liked to see this built diff.. with a roll cage a new chassis style ect... But this thing has potential though it's a neat little truck.. I wish the body had a more scale look to it like the Vaterra RC C10 body they use on their on road truck and their trail truck. Vaterra puts a lil more work into their RTR bodies then anyone else I believe. The Vaterra C10 body is a sexy body lol I put my VETTARA RC 1973 C10 body on my project Granite and it looks amazing lol

@@rcguygarage Its a common issue both my and my sons truck as well as most I watch tends to launch to the right... Best I could do to fix it is keep the front the front end planted. I'm all for the show, but more about the go. I love to watch the old school gasser cars run, but for the win give me a AWD stuck the the ground for the win.

You people are a trip. The dr10 is 350$ and a total turd with the crap system and cheap transmission. 499$ for something that can hit 2.5’s in stock form, same with the losi is a great deal. Traxxas and losi are leaving AE in the dust
Launches very nice for sure. Proven platform. Parts everywhere. Best part is 67 Chev. Yes premium price but after the smile on my face it eased the price pain. So the justification is to each his own.

Hey Guy I fixed my trashmaxx. It lasted through one set of batteries surprisingly but then the pinion came loose 🤣

Most sanctioned tracks that I've raced at in the past year will allow that. Disabled or not, it isn't allowed on the car.
