I've been watching so many of these videos to start my shop and yours was by far the best, most straight forward, and helpful one! Thanks so much! New subbie here!
Thank you for making this video!! I was absolutely loving it and then just loved it even more after your #momlife moment because its so relatable😂😭 Haha
Thank you for sharing this information. It was very helpful. I was wondering if you made your own backing cards for packaging and if you print them yourself or have them printed through a printing company?
Happy to hear it was helpful 🙌 I used to make my own but it was no longer time efficient in my case, so I now create the design and just order from a printing company. The more you order the cheaper per piece 😊
I'm so confused because I'm wanting to start a shop but I don't understand the labels/stamps. So you mentioned printing labels, but do those go on the envelope? And then you mentioned stamps through Etsy/the esty partner but do those get printed out? Thanks for any answers! I have not been able to see any images of these and don't know what supplies to actually buy.
Hi, sorry getting to comments later that wanted to 😊 So you have two options, go physical to the post office and write "to/ "from" on the package/ envelope and pay for the postage on the spot. This way is usually 1.more expensive 2.time consuming. The other option is you purchasing the "label " which is just the service I guess you use to ship the item, usually it's via USPS...you can do everything (buying the shipping label) online. On etsy in particular it's very easy because everything is filled out for on and label is generated automatically, you just need to put in the end dimensions of the package /envelope, weight and click "purchase" and yes, you'll print that paper out and stick it on the package. You can use a regular printer too, I did that for a while before getting thermal printer. And that's it, you either drop it off at the postal office yourself or request a pick up (not available everywhere I belive) or put it in the outgoing mailbox. I hope it helps a little and ask away any questions 😊
@@proudlyselfmadeblogHey there! Is there a weight limit to using a shipping label through Etsy with the envelopes? I've been trying to find more out, and yours is the only video that's been helpful on the shipping aspect for me😅

I am a cheap ass so instead of using bags I just wrap them with baking paper 😂 or waxed paper you can get big sheets for cheap in art stores
