I don't see the step when the programmer asks to "put the key close to start induction coil, press and hold the ignition for 10s" (4:31) . Does it need to be done after the key was written sucesfully? Thanks
this might work in European BMWs. In US trying stuff like this through OBD will most certainly brick your DME and will require a professional to perform Dflash repair which is more work. Best to do it on the bench. This guy with his 508 autel I can't take him seriously. That's a toy. I would not hire anyone with an im508 to do work on my cars. That tells me he's an amateur.
The im508 and im608 have the same functionality in terms of key programming.. Btw, buying super expensive tools doesn’t make you a better locksmith.. It’s important to start somewhere you are able to understand and have knowledge.. However, I agree that you need more than one tool as there’s no tool-for-all.. Note: AUTEL has an update that prevents the brick of the module.. Also, if you have a shop and work on bmws, you should be able to know how to unbrick the module (it’s super easy.. just need to remove the module, do some soldering and reading and voila!!)
Good video, will autel universal key work in AKL situation ? Cheers

Areal mane ni bro.
Looks like your only adding a key, If all keys lost where is the step that ask if you have a working key or not in order to proceed with programming?
Hello, maybe u don't understand autel, when cas4+ only have asking working key or not, but cas4, autel can directly read isn from cas. 🤔
Is it im 608?
No, it is the IM 508

Some idiots just have to hear themselves talk even if it is worthless.
