Do you still need the garage door opener in the vehicle to use the overhead button?
@@stephe20824 nope!
It worked with my gate remote but not my genie garage door remote. Suggestions?
I have the same issue. Programmed gate opening on #2 with no problems. Using same remote tried to program #1 for garage and get nothing but a FAST blinking light. Looking for answers.
I have A 2024 Silverado trying to to program my garage door to open
Not sure if the Silverado’s are the same process or not. Is it not working?
@@daddoesitALL I think it doesn’t have it
My 2024 Colorado has no home buttons and nowhere can i find where or how to program a garage door on it...
doesn’t seem like they wanted to include that info in the manuals for 2024 (my Tahoe didn’t have it either). Try searching UA-cam for your specific vehicle!
I don't have a remote for my garage door, and I just purchased a 2024 Yukon Denali. Any advice?
You can try to use the same method, but instead of hitting the button of the remote, hit the button of the door opener inside the garage (or the "learn" button on the garage opener itself). You'll probably need a helping hand to do this at same time and I have not tried this myself but may be worth a shot!
That method does not work on my 2023 Silverado LTZ
back to the drawing board!
How do you program it if you don’t have the garage door opener? Thanks!
I am not 100% sure this will work but most garage door openers have a “learn” button on the motor unit. You can try to press and release the “learn” button and then within 30 seconds press and hold the button on the car until the lights flash.
Need help asap
Does not work
Yes it dose
@@xavierreyes3930 why would I say this if it did?
