i'm a money launderer. i literally washed and ironed it thinking it would be nicer for the teller instead of being a wrinkled pile of paper. when i deposited it the teller asked me if i had washed the money. i was impressed they could tell! i said i thought it would help them and she said what would really help is if i counted the money myself the first time, then they'd only have to count it once and see if it matched my total, else they have to count it twice and both counts had to match. (i thought they'd have some magical money counting machine thing like they have for coins)
*count it yourself.
Teller: "Your deposit slip says $5,000."
You: "That's right."
Teller: "This is 38 dollars..."

I was taught laundromats would be the perfect way to launder money though just pay people to come in and pump quarters into your machines and then the second you popping quarters out of your machines it's clean money

Escobar offered to pay off Colombia's national debt in exchange for immunity. He would have had over $10 billion left over (in 1985 dollars). They obviously turned him down.
