I use this as my main workstation arranger, with an Arturia 32 key Analog Factory Synthesizer, and a 25 key behringer midi board. I use vst's and daw's HEAVILY and also run an epiphone through a grunge pedal through the ctk - 7000 which is then hooked up to a 2 bus 10 input 100 fx xenyx behringer mixer, via rigged to the behringer UCA222 audio interface, so i'm able to run all my drum patterns, key automations, samples, etc. all live.
I think that the CTK series is more designed and oriented towards the beginner, children and the 'occasional' keyboard player or other instrumentalists. For my money, the WK series is what a keyboard player should purchase.
Sorry, this keyboard is amazing! Needed to test it more, I am between him and a Juno Di. But for the price and the Drawnbar, I do not know! Outside the recording functions ... Casio hit now! Fantastic! I needed some videos comparing the tone with others, would be cool!
Great vid!!!!!...... I have a couple questions......1. Can I record vocals and other instruments on top of tracks that I already recorded? 2. Concerning the mixer function....can I use the drawbars during live performance to control the strings behind my piano sound as I play? Can I control the leslie with the foot pedal......thanks
Hi Dude, My question is can we save our tones, like Roland XP60? coz i know CASIO did not have this facility in the previous versions I.e CTK models. Well one more thing does the keys feel like a Roland XP60 or chipper plastic coz when you were playing this Demo i heard the keys noise. will be waiting for your reply thanks in ADV.
This keyboard looks like it would lots of fun. Im planning to purchase a more advanced Casio within the next few years. I'm just curious, does the CTK-7000/WK-7500 feature all the European rhythms, i.e., the polkas, marches, waltzes, and the serenade and tango, which are featured on the more children/beginner oriented models such as the CTK-2100 and LK-220. Thanks!
Hi I've just bought one of these awesome beasts, very nice I really like it. I am trying to take of & or change reverb on mike. I go into the mixer but I can't find an option via the screen to change this setting for the mike. Can you help? Cheers.
hi Paul i am thinking of buying this keyboard ctk -7000 i would like to know the pro's & con's of this unit & how is the sound for other instrument like guitar or harp etc....... thanks Paul 73
Hello, Would you recommend this for a 1st time keyboard user? or a CTK one? Thanks I am almost very close to choosing my Casio Keyboard. My objective is to eventually play a Piano / Organ Style Music. Much appreciated!
Robert Isaac better is ctk 7000. You can see :www.casio-intl.com/asia-mea/en/emi/high_grade/ctk6200/spec/ and www.casio-intl.com/asia-mea/en/emi/high_grade/ctk7000/spec/
hello! I have the CTK 7200 and am having trouble figuring out which buttons I press so I can use the keys to play drum sounds. At 4.44 of the tutorial, the drums are being played whilst the gentleman records them, can anyone advise what buttons to press to do this, really just to practice first, don't even need to record yet.... I'm looking through the manual but it's making me go cross eyed! Ha! Cheers :)
It is because of this keyboard has the only one DSP channel. The user manual actualy has this information on page R-30. Further, DSP cann't work simultaneously with chorus effect. Sad but true.

That musical piece towards the end of the video sounds like the Steve Wonder 80's classic "That Girl".

SORRY FOR CALLING YOU AN IDIOT. DONT REPY TO ME . UNDERSTOOD ?????????
Don't buy 6000/6500 without understanding fully what the Pattern Sequencer can do for your creativity in the 7000/7500.
Mucho bla bla y tocas casi nada.
Isnt it a shame this is so poorly produced. :-(
Péssimo vídeo, fala muito e mostra o óbvio que até os mais simples teclados possui.
Aprendé a escribir primero
