    Excellent info. Need to replace my fifteen year old WK 1300. Nothing wrong with the keyboard, but it keeps cutting out. Lost sound in the middle of playing for a church service yesterday so it has to go! Will now buy the 7600 after your very good assessment. Thanks.

    I have used the WK-7500 for years as my main gigging keyboard. It's amazing. With a bit of noodling, the sliders can be mapped to control volume on layered sounds. This means I can fade the layered sounds in/out as needed. I use a variety of piano and electric piano sounds, organs and strings when I play. Most of the other sounds go unused. I don't need a monitor since the speakers can be set to stay on while you connect to an amp or PA. And the complaints I heard in your review about the sounds are pretty much moot once you pipe the sounds out. They literally use the same sound engine so, there is that. The keyboard noise can be distracting but playing live, the volume on stage covers all of that up too. Good review.

    Wish you would have done an Organ comparing back and forth -- that's what I was really wondering about. Although you did shine some light on the action problem and the new sounds for the wk7600 -- please do an organ and drawbars ect.

    I have buyers remorse, bought the wk 7500, and the sound is very tinny, when you hit a key too hard it sounds very tinny!

    My keyboard (wk-7500) is like eleven years old. Wish I had known about the keybed. I've been using mine to gig and it's very distracting hearing the keys clacking as I play.

    I'm a keyboard casual. I used to own the Casio WK-7600 as my "serious" arranger with a Yamaha PSR-540 for retro purposes like a Sound Canvas alternative for MS-DOS games.
    Both are lost to me, as well as the Korg Triton I never got into, but I want to get this specific line of Casio back... Is there a model with 88 keys while retaining the other features? As an outsider, the numbers get confusing.

    Hello Kris, thank you for your perfirmance, it is real good. I am willing to see more videos from you, well, I just have got the WK 7600 in this year, a month ago. I'm glad to have this one, however, I was wondering wich is the latest CASIO of this WK series up today? Because maybe there is some other brand new in this series. Do you have some new closer tutorials for this WK 7600 keyboard? Greetings from Tijuana!

    Hi Kris, can you do a demo of WK7600's back panel? I'd like to know more about the connections this keyboard can do. From the Line Out Terminals to the Phones Terminals. I recently bought a standard 1/4" stereo jack and was surprised that it doesn't go all the way through the Phones Terminals (Headphones).

    Hi Kris,,,Thanks a lot for the video ,, after watching I decided to buy the wk 7600,, but about two weeks of using it ,,I am learning on it and its my 2nd keyboard , I had noticed that some keys make some clicking noise when I hit them ,about 3-5 keys,, It doesnt effect the performance but it kinda bother me ,,do you think its ok ? should I request a return from the seller ,and what about the wk7600 you got did you have similar issue? I would love to hear what you think....

    Hi Kris, I like your keyboard comparisons and demos. I have the WK7500 but find the keys small and the action as you described in this demo.
    Your thoughts on the Korg microkey 61 Air were also very interesting since a lightweight very portable keyboard has advantages during travels. How would you compare this keyboard action though against the WK7500? John

    HMNn..nice demo of the sounds..? couple years back I had a Casio WK-3000 keyboard,,and i hear some sounds are similiar to that one then..and yes its been inprovement since that WK 3000 model..The 7600 sounds more Genuine sounds,now. but Still the drum section still sounds not 100% genuine but Ok for average home musicians..??
    I rather would have a separate Drummascin.instead.and Rytm sections too.and I you get a second hand keyboard at price 200-300 dollar then its good machine?🎵😎

    I've Noticed a different size of circles (speakers holes) in Ctk-7200 and Wk-7600. ¿Is there a difference in output power/ volume? I red in other video comment section than the voice bank of the wk-7600 is better than CTK-7200, has anybody listen to both of them to check this ?

    Hey.
    I have a question. I've been wanting a keyboard like this for a while now because I'm particularly fond of pianos and organs in general, and they do both, but I never really had the opportunity to buy one. So of course I'm a beginner in this domain. And I was wondering; would the 7600 be a good choice to learn? Knowing that I'd rather not buy a new model each time I get better at it. Or is the 7600 just too hard to start with for someone like me? If it is, do you have any other recommendation?
    Thanks, if you actually take the time to answer me.

    I've been doing keyboard research. The WK-7600 became a product of interest, but I also considered the WK-7500 - I mean, what's the big difference? Thankfully I ran across this video.

    • @LoveStance
      @LoveStance 9 років тому

      Bill Hahn Hi there, as was noted in the video, one of the big differences is how you can hear your use of the keys on the 7500. The 7600 is smoother and more reflective of the piano users experience. It's not as ... clunky when hitting the keys as what you will hear when you use the 7500. To me that would be a big issue. I don't want to hear 'thunk thunk thunk as I am hitting the keys, and have to worry if I can use that noise in a live recording. The value of the sound was mentioned as well, but while I heard a difference, I didn't hear any big deal breaking differences.

    • @KMNKeyboardVault
      @KMNKeyboardVault  10 років тому +1

      The Yamaha MOXF Series is great but you are paying a Hi Price for a Keyboard that is Heavy and lot of bells & whistles you may not use The WK series is very user friendly and stand up to Studio or Live gigs

    • @instrumentalistjade8367
      @instrumentalistjade8367 7 років тому

      The keys of the casio better than the moxf6. Soundwise the yamaha has better sounds, but the wk series are arrangers. and its not the same as the moxf. For the price of the wk, its worth the money. And has alot of capabilities. i sold my moxf6 already. i sold all my motif and fantoms. Now im just using a kronos, wk-7500, ax-synth and a 5080 rack loaded

      So what do you remember? It’s not the same kind of keyboard. I have the 101, I also have a monster analog casio from before they invented midi. It sounds fatter than these digital ones. It weighs 25 times more. It’s 76 notes and the church organ sounds like your in a church with the monster church organist playing. The analog 101 has some qualities. Say something don’t just remember.
