Original owner of an 03 SS here. Good to see you got the correct color SS, Arrival Blue. And your paint is in great shape. My SS is still running great as my daily driver, 20 years later. I added a MagnaCharger Radix as soon as I bought it. That got me to a 1/4 mile at 13.9. The supercharger really wakes up the bottom end acceleration and makes it even more fun to drive. I tried a MagnaFlow cat back, but the highway drone drove me nuts, so got rid of it after a couple weeks and have been running the stock exhaust since. I also did the '07 Tahoe disc brake upgrade with some red calipers that looks nice. Still run the stock wheels, and 305/50/20 tire size to get for these. I tow our travel trailer with it too, for vacations. The weak link is the transmission. Granted I do have the supercharger, but even stock, the transmission is marginal. My stock transmission lasted till 70k , then would not shift to 4th, so rebuilt with some upgrades. Much later, sun gear blew up, so rebuilt again, and just a few years ago, I managed to break the input shaft, so rebuild number 3. Next time it will be the 4L80 upgrade, even if it is a bit of a chore to do.
I’ve owned mine for 15 years 216,000 on it,still daily driving,pulling trailer and nothing but routine maintenance ever needed. Only issue is rust from living in NY prior to me but as good as she’s been I’ll bring her back to 100%

I installed a system on my truck that disables everything for the engine fuel pump ,ignition,starter basically its similar to a switch for the relays but it requires the keyfob to enable them otherwise no crank or fuel
Amother pro is you can modify thiss truck a lot and it can handle power and its AWD so instantly forward acceleration once its heavily modified and supercharged or turbocharged and procharged thiss truck is amazing❤❤
Yes, and lowered suspension, different brakes and spring rates, faster ratio steering from other Silverados.. This video doesn’t come close to a real Pro-Con list about these trucks when compared to any other Silverado of the same era…the 6.0 with an added supercharger and a battery relocation makes the AWD really fun at the limits of it’s capability.. through the twisties it can outrun a lot of other trucks.. But the AWD transfer case doesn’t love excessive hard drag strip launches and certain parts can be expensive and harder to find than a standard 1500

Thiss truck isnt for fuel mileage its for racing and for you too tune and modify it if gas mileage is a big thing for you then these types of trucks are not for you 😂😂❤
