CG: I love your attitude of using up what we already have!! And, as a Southerner (in the USA), I particularly appreciate your shout-out to recognize the amazing Gees Bend Quilters. Thank you for sharing your work.
Thank you so much for such an inspiring interview, Christine absolutely love you’re playful approach to quilting thank you so much for sharing you’re stunning quilts and little lockdown projects.
Your quilts are just wonderful....I have always loved improv quilting and the philosophy of quilting and stitching that you express. Thank you for sharing!
What a interesting video to watch. Great idea's to make scrappy fabric items with used fabric. From quilts to book covers and push your boundaries and idea's with fabric.
Thank you ladies, I really enjoyed that. I have never got into quilt making, but love slow/hand stitching, and using scraps etc. I adored Christine's quilts! I loved the anything goes idea, rather than a set pattern. Will certainly be trying that!!
Glad you enjoyed it! - I agree, the blue quilt is stunning! You can find more of Christine's work on her website christinegreencrafts.co.uk/ - Thank you for watching - Katie : )
Carboot sales and charity shops are full of lovely, prewashed, recyclable inexpensive fabrics so why would you spend big on material designed specifically for patchwork and cut into jelly rolls and fat quarters - it really doesn't make sense....
@@christinegreen999 Thankyou so much. I love your patchwork. Im a big fan myself. Ive made curtains, skirts, quilts. Ive even adopted a girl in a patchwork skirt for my paintings. On another note, can you buy the thread in the UK?
