FIX - Kwikset Keypad Lock - Buttons Stopped / Not Working

How to fix a Kwikset Keypad push button lock with keys that are unresponsive, or stopped working.

Thank you for posting. Was about to go on a trip and the lock died. New batteries didn’t work this time. Cleaning the keypad did. Quite clever of you!

How do you get to to the first part taking the piece off

There might be screws in the side you can undo. 😮
